Absolutely phenomenal -- loved hearing and analyzing this for the first time! What else from Disturbed should I check out?

I actually think you should check out Ann Wilson's band Heart on a song or two. If you prefer hard rock/metal try "Barracuda" (kzread.info/dash/bejne/gpmB2K-HoNmoZbA.html) or if you prefer something more like this Disturbed song try "Alone" (kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y3erk9CgZ5ixgJM.html).

A great Disturbed heavy rocker that is somewhat melodic is The Vengeful One (kzread.info/dash/bejne/aqKLj6uJot2zYco.html).

A reason to fight, down with the sickness, or stupify
It is sooo hard to believe that Ann is in her early 70s, she sounds phenomenal!!
Ann Wilson with Heart - one of the best female rock voices ever.
I’m not the biggest metal fan by any means, but there is something about Disturbed that just gets me. Adding Ann Wilson to the mix is genius. If you ever want to react to Ann showing just how much of a powerhouse she is, do check out the live video of Stairway to Heaven that Heart did at the Kennedy Center Honors for Led Zeppelin. It is truly epic.

Agree!!!!
You’ve got to go and listen to Ann Wilson’s earlier music with Heart. She sings much lower now. She used to hit these amazing, piercing belts. Check out barracuda, magic man, or crazy on you. She’s a hell of a vocalist!

I'd love to hear Peter's opinons on any of those songs you mentioned! I saw Heart back in the 80's, was amazing!
Ann Wilson is one of top 3 female Rock singers of all time.
ANN ROCKS AT 73
The first time I heard Ann singing, chilllllls everywhere here too. I was like wowwwwwww
Just discovered your channel...I agree with much of these comments. Must watch Ann's 70s singing. 70s Heart is absolutely magical.
Reading feat Ann Wilson totally didnt click until she came in and Im like OH CRAP HEART!
David and Ann are amazing together. I Wish for more their duets. 👏👏👏
Love, love your reaction to this Peter! I’ve loved this since the album was released in fall ‘22. This video was just released, because it is truly art! I appreciated this in-depth analysis! Really helps to appreciate it even more. Dan Donegan the lead guitarist/keyboardist came up with the concept after going through a painful divorce. He brought it to Draiman and soon they realized they needed a female counterpart voice to tell the other half of the story. Ann and Disturbed have a mutual admiration and Ann indicated she’d love to collaborate with them sometime. She was the only one he would agree to do it with. Ironically he also went through a painful divorce last year. You can see it on his face and hear it in his voice!
Such a great duet from them. You should check out some of Ann's stuff from Heart.
Luv this duet! Ann has been belting out tunes since the 70s with the band Heart which also has her sister Nancy. She has a amazing well trained voice! Disturbed bringing her in is an amazing idea! Luv the song. Great reaction!!
I learn so much about all aspects of a performance which opens my listening skill and appreciation 💕
I love his tone and he has mad vocal skils. Ann is Magic
Great analysis. I love both of these singers and for years have said David Draiman and Ann Wilson are the gold standard for male and female hard rock singers. Never thought I'd see them collaborate. The song and vocal performances are great, and the video images just add an extra layer of depth to the song. Really enjoyed your comments as well. Keep up the good work. I hope you'll do some additional videos to both Disturbed and Ann Wilson's band Heart.
Nice reaction and analysis. Their voices are amazing together!
I love that I learn something new with each video!
Love Disturbed’s music, and appreciate your analysis. As an aside, before I watch your analysis of the duet between Placido Domingo and Dimash, I recommend that you check out Professor Georgievsky’s comments on the piece. He fills in the background of the performance as well as of Bizet’s opera. Looking forward to it.
If you like the style that's less heavy from Disturbed, try "The Light"; "If I Ever Lose My Faith In You" (cover of Sting's song); "Hold Onto Memories"; "A Reason To Fight" (the official music video since your focus is solely the vocal analysis.) They really have some gorgeous songs with deep messages. And David's spectacular vocals, of course.
Okay, I’ll admit it: this video analysis has convinced me to add a second heavy metal performer to my subscription list. This performance was incredible! Thank you for making me appreciate its complexity and exceptional execution.

You might enjoy Leprous - Castaway Angels.
Love hearing your reaction and analysis. Helps me understand why I’m enjoying (or not) what I’m listening to. Like this song.
You should do some reactions to Ann in Heart, she’s amazing! And her voice when younger has crazy high belts.
I enjoyed your analysis (and the live stream) very much! Thank you! ☺️❤ Both of their voices sound so perfect together. 🥰
so beautifull amazing the best disturbed david phenomenal 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Love this!!! Missed when it came out. Thank you Peter.
again thank you for pointing out the great points in this music
Thank you for sharing your expertise! Interesting music.
Disturbingly haunting music. Great choice Mr. Barber
Great reaction, thank-you! These two artists are the best of the best! You might enjoy reacting to Ann (and Nancy’s) tribute to Led Zep Stairway to Heaven - their live performance at the Kennedy Center 2016. It would also be great to hear you react/review Queen/Freddie Mercury’s epic Bohemian Rhapsody. Their use of multi-tracking ‘back in the day’ using tape and multiple takes.
Thank you for sharing your joy.
Peter, what I know about vocal dynamics is dangerous! BUT I love listening to your analysis and learning from it. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise. It's definitely broadened my musical horizons.
David draiman is my favourite vocalist ever
Привет, Питер! Обожаем Дэвида, Дистерб, Энн и тебя! Храни всех господь!🥰😍😘💋💖🧡💘💞❣💙👍👍👍🥀🌷🪴💐
React to dimash the pear fishers duet him actually singing opera!
The true music video did just drop recently, yes. But the song and visualization video with lyrics has been up like a year.
Awesome R&A, as always. My kids introduced me to Disturbed and they're starting to grow on me.
Thanks 😊
So good
Peter, Dimash has done The Pearl Fishers’ Duet: Au fond du Temple Saint with Placido Domingo at V4+ 2023, which has now been released on YT. Reaction?
Thanks, I really enjoyed this. I disagreed with your analysis of Sound of Silence, probably my bad, but this was so good.
Thank you for this great react-analysis, Peter! I really enjoyed it! I'm a Disturbed one since their Sound of Silence cover. Learned to love and appreciate heavier music because of them. May I suggest a couple more from Disturbed? *The Light *Remember 😊
Good as akways sir! May I say that I hope that you take a look at 20 year old Diana Ankudinova singing her new song live in a duet with the songs composer Brandon Stone. "The Day You..." duet New Years. You won't believe how much she has improved! Be well, do well, and smile more often. It looks good on you!
I definitely like seeing more rock on your channel. Maybe ONE OK ROCK would be nice pick...? They have a really great vocalist too.
❤
What voice range would you use to describe David's voice? I believe a baritone would have a difficult time with the high notes, and a 1st tenor would have trouble with the low notes, e.g. the beginning of "Sound of Silence". A 2nd tenor? Maybe he does not fit into one voice range?
I'm waiting for this, but I also wait for you to react to Dimash and Placido Domingo singing the Pearl Fisher's aria. Please 🙏

As far as I know Peter’s videos are recorded far in advance (several weeks/months maybe), if he records a reaction to the duet right now it wouldn’t come out for quite a while anyway
I love your analysis videos they are always so informative, you should definitely react to peyton parrish jörmungandr or fenrir off of his skalds of metal album
Bro if you wanna geek out watching someone playing guitar you should watch Roy Clark play malagueña.
🙂
