Thank you, and I hope your day gets better! Try rest up
I love the pencils over markers. I love seeing you take a simple line art drawing and turning into something amazing
Glad you picked up this coloring book again, it has nice compositions. Super cool result as always. My fav part is the hammer and the addition of the rain 🌧️ Awesome! 🔥
First off Thor is my favorite Marvel character and you did a fantastic job coloring him. Your choices made him look older and I like it.
I am so happy that you showed the step-wise progression! I love to see how much of a difference the addition of the pencils makes. Great job as always!
Damn 😮 the mood of the piece caged radically with the pencils and rain addition, my favourite so far 😍☺
I have no clue how marvel/DC has not hired him to do comics and merchandise. You are amazing!
My goodness. This is a masterpiece. I need to learn how to do this just as a great hobby (obviously not as good). Coloring is very relaxing compared to what I do day in and day out.
ADCartattack after colouring the whole thing with markers and intense shading and highlights: So we do have a good base here.
"It's not a perfect piece of work" Well .. excuse me?! That's beyond masterful!
The detail of rain splatter and arm hair--epic!
Anyone notice ADC using Copic on base colors to not waste the ink of other pens😂😂😂

This came out just in time! I drew something yesterday that I want to color, but am too scared of ruining. Hearing your method really helped boost my confidence just now. That Thor is excellent!

I would say scan it to create a digital copy of it, then you dont have to worry about ruining the drawing. This also gives you the ability to print multiple copies and try different techniques.

Great video, Anthony. Very well balanced between silly and serious, more so than some other vids of yours, I think (if that makes any sense). Loved the succinct and illustrative way you explained the relationship between markers and pencils, here. (It's what compelled me to write a comment, which I never do.) The difference in effort, coverage, and style (e.g., makers do the coverage but the pencils add texture). Your comments on stepwise color focus and the contrast of a blank white paper were likewise superb. Just really, really well done! Been a long time fan and you've been an enormous inspiration to me the past few years. Keep it up because whether or not you believe it yourself, you are in fact one of the best on KZread.
Have been watchigna lot of norse mythology lately so this is perfect timing
As an Artist, zi used to do this all of the time, but with regular crayon. And there is a way to layer your depth with Crayola's! So awesome that he created a channel around this.
Good to hear he is distracted by watching smth while drawing. I am painting and listening / watching his video right now.
I love how the arms went from looking great to photo realistic in like 12 seconds XD
Awesome turn out!! I love the contrast between the markers and color pencil combo. I also admire how you transition from shadow to details. I too follow the same structure when approaching my own drawing projects, to organize myself in phases. It has truly helped my artwork pop with color and definition.
Taking the approach of talking about your mindset was wonderful I would say. And the page turned out absolutely amazing. Really love it ❤️ By watching you I learned that art isn't about "making the best artworks and stuff", it's about enjoying yourself and just being comfortable with what you are doing. I'm so glad I discovered you, and can't wait for October 7th :D !!
Absolutely amazing ADC ! I do really Love all the process you make from the first layers til the end using colored pencils ! Please, do more videos like this one.
This was both fun to watch and insightful. I love all the details you added. Keep up the great work man!
You keep saying your work isn't perfect, but what I see is perfection every time. Great job once again!
I dig this last details on the hammer and hand. Especially the water effects. :)
Am I the only one that started dancing to the back ground music? Sounded like some Afro beat 🔥🔥
I loved this style of video. I've been hitting a big art block for years really. You saying that you don't need to know the end result before you start made a big impact for me. I always feel lesser than because I go in without a clear vision. Thank you, I'd love to see more like this!
The detail of hair on the arm is crisp 🤌
This is so cool! I have learned so much from watching your videos, so I really liked this tutorial-ish format. I really liked the addition of the hair and other details you added with the fine liner. I'm always so impressed with the way you manage to make some of the original lines from the coloring book disappear. A really good example is Thor's beard in this video. The line from his chin is gone!
Bruh this came out completely fire... The pencil detailing is crazy
The grip on that hammer and the "water" on his fingers make me have funny thoughts.
I don't know what it is about all these various videos this guy does but I love every freaking one of them. This has quickly become my most watched channels on KZread. I even find myself looking for markers and colouring books on Amazon now. Hahaha!

Wow, amazing work! I had no idea it's possible to add this much detail and texture by hand 🤩
If you're doing just colored pencil, start by blending your first layers with a mild citrus thinner from Blick, and a qtip. It breaks down the binder and let's you move and smooth the pigment. Trick I learned student teaching. Also works great on oil pastel.
I wish you uploaded every day. Awesome colouring as always
I have no idea why the KZread algorithm brought me to this video, but I am very happy that it did. That was so awesome that I immediately bought all those items (not those expensive a** markers though) online to try it myself. I dont even draw or color. Great job, dude.
This series is how i found your Chanel, i watched the video were you colored this coloring book with captain america, and his lushes lips.I was hooked immediately and you haven't let down!
I love this series... We home school our children and I've used your videos for teaching blending and shadow work. Keep up the great work!!
I LOVE these videos the best. Especially when you use your good markers!!
I LOVE your colouring book series and especially when you’re doing Marvel based characters. The end results are always spectacular! I love your vibe and energy on videos, too. They never fail to make my day better. Because of this series and your channel in general, I finally took the plunge to get myself a set of Ohuhu markers, as well as a set of coloured pencils to have a bit more fun with colouring books. It wasn’t really until this series that I would have even thought to combine markers and pencils! I was always disappointed with the coverage of just pencils alone (without breaking my fingers to add enough pressure) and this has made me fall in love again with colouring and art in general so, thank you! It’s given me another activity that actually helps me to de-stress again.
The difference between the half way point and after pencils is insane! Very inspiring, thanks dude!
I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!! Please keep these colouring book videos coming, I hit like even before the videos start🤣 keep killing it my G
"Today I wanna tackle For, the God of Funder." 😂
I like the Hammer the most! Never thought of using color pencils thanks for the technique.
I love it how he added the beard without thinking anything through
The jazz in this eppy is 🔥🔥🔥!
That is an awesome piece of work! I love the textures and highlights in the finished piece, especially your own additions of the rain, the beard, and the hint of a cheeky smile. I like the guidelines you've given. I wonder how many followers have the same book and complete the same design using your guidelines.
Been looking forward to this all day and wasn't disappointed, beautiful work
Just want to say thank you for your videos and great advice you always give! You have inspired me to rekindle a long lost love of art that has been dormant for so long due to lack of motivation and lack of confidence. Just this week I purchased a large set of Prismacolor colored pencils and a 48pc W&N Promarker Brush set, along with a large paper pad. I have been having the time of my life coloring learning new skills and techniques! Best $200 spent in a long time I must say. Cant wait to watch more of your content and continue my creations! Cheers
I like the new format ! Thanks for this awesome video with the extra touch and explanations. I'd like to see it more often, if you want.
Really really nice! The rain added some nice depth.
Love the video! The rain was a very awesome addition….gave the drawing emotion. 🙂 I really like this style of video and hope you do more. You helped me to get back into art with the coloring book videos….drawing is fun again! 🤪
As someone who is not an artist. This blows my fucking mind. Amazing. Well done.
You're a big inspiration to me as an artist ❤️ I think watching your videos un unconsciously influenced the way I color my drawings so thanks for that!
My favourite drawing of all of the drawings you've ever done! well done sir!
Amazing video as always!!! Starting off my Birthday pretty strong!!
I have started something and then changed and couldn't continue with the style I started. You are the only person who ever said this, that I have heard. Love your videos!
Absolutely love this series you do... Keep up the cool work..
Those “rain drops” over his fingers just seem very risky looking to me lol
In the 80's, the WWF had a children's cartoon, and this Thor reminds me of the Ultimate Warrior from that era. I'd love to see your take on wrestling personas.

Dang you always blow me away! Kudos as usual! Yeah I use a marker base and then use color pencils over it to get the details!

Such an underrated channel
Finally this product is back in stock in b&m, only been waiting a year. Time to look up some old vids and colour along and try and pick up some of the techniques to create good shadowing and highlights.
Great vid man! Keep it up
Love this series, and love your coloring!!!
Came out amazing man, wow!
love that you added the beard to, awesome result in total !
Waiting the whole time for you to add line drawings and effects. Awesome art attack!
omg, you make it look so easy. my stuff just looks so flat even after i started using your light to dark methods. Also your detailing is amazing. I'm commented before under another tag "rocrad" Where i would have stopped you kept going and created something sellable and amazing.
more please ! :) love the colouring book ones especially the marvel ones
You do awesome rain, I remember how stunning the Joker picture you did, totally outstanding
I really appreciate your extra tips here.
Looks amazing! Also, when you did the first base layer it reminded me of Captain Planet 😂
