I appreciate you showing how to do this stuff- I just spent 20 hours wrapping my son's BMW car with Avery color changing vinyl. It came out good with your help and I learned that I never want to do wrapping again- it takes a long time, is easy to make an expensive mistake, and requires too much patience. Best of luck to all of you who do this for fun and profit.

20 hours is good… that’s basically $100/hour in labor… imagine the pay for the patience….

I have watched a lot of your videos, you do good work, you do make it look very easy, I did my first hood wrap job yesterday, I used Vvivid carbon fiber wrap, I should have picked a easier specimen, I did the hood on a Mini Cooper, not a flat surface anywhere, it was a struggle, but I think it came out ok, we’ll see how it holds up. Thanks for the videos.

This was supplied by the customer as it was their personal preference. The wrap faded after 2 months and they regretted it

Thanks for sharing the knowledge! I found some very useful info in your videos. The prestrech technique helped me a lot when wrapping the interior trim on my alfa romeo. I sure you would have done it better but it looks really damn good..

Bro I am a very new sub to your channel. I want to wrap up my car but I want to know where you get your quality wraps from 3M and vivid

Wondering what heat setting for heating this vinyl?

Would this same rule and technique apply to doing headlights? Making some eyebrows for my 2017 Impreza, and the ones I did were... Less than tasteful. Bad tear lines from the knifeless tape, bubbles and wrinkles everywhere, and just overall a failure in my mind. I did notice that the wrap itself was rather thick, so will heating the wrap before applying help with getting over and in contours, both concave and convex, and not give me bubbles and wrinkles (aka, eye candy grief)?

I'm sure most mirror caps are removeable. Some mirrors have caps and others don't. Some are partially painted and some are fully painted. Mirrors vary quite a bit and some can be much more difficult and complex than this set I did

How does 3m 1080 hold up on rough surfaces like faded clear coat or even small spots with sanded body filler. Is this possible to wrap?

Need to pre stretch.. It'll make your job a lot easier and less likely to lift later on.

+Trevor James Grimco or ND Graphics are retailers of 3m and Avery in the GTA. I'd use Avery as it's the easiest to apply

Trevor James do it yourself truly not that hard and will save you hundreds of dollars if not s couple thousand it's not rocket science and do some research on what product you want

What’s the best vinyl brand or typefor a textured aluminium pole or surface. I have tried the cheaper vinyl with the hexagon adhesive and it doesn’t stick to that only plastics or smoother surfaces.

Is removing the mirror cab for every car ?
