Interestingly I did not have hot flashes and was confirm via blood test that I was post menopausal at 52. Now at 55 was struggling with severe brain fog and extreme fatigue. After starting a brief stint of HRT, brain fog has dissipated and I have more energy and sleeping better. My relationships also are improving. 🙏🏽 my quality of life is way better with HRT.

This woman doesn't make sense. She is very misinformed about estrogen and its effects on the brain.

Well, all I can say to this is that oestrogen improved my memory to the point that I could drive the car again without forgetting where the gears were and eradicated a wrong diagnosis of 'Sjoergens Syndrome' within 10 days of taking it; in fact, it gave me my life back at 57!!! I had to fight for the HRT though and do hours of research on Pub Med etc and your site, on NICE etc before my GP capitulated and caved in, prescribing me the patches as advised by Dr Louise Newson. I have a legal background and am a Teacher now. I know when I am getting patronising information. The GP was working from an out of date BMA Guide which was no longer compatible with the NICE Guidelines I showed him. As far as I am concerned, lack of oestrogen and progesterone were the root cause of my problem and I definately was not 'too old for HRT' as my GP advised. Instead of being unable to get out of bed, I am now a fully functioning member of ' The Sandwich Generation' again. I'll take my advice from brave, groundbreaking, experts like Dr Langer and Dr Louise Newson! All I can say is, its worked for me and the intrepid team of celebrities and MP who have just got the White Paper signed in the UK Parliament, in relation to proper and consistent access to Menopause treatments leading to the long overdue debunking of the, appalling ,WHI Report leaks???
