Neil will be bigger than Einstein. I am simply stunned and amazed and my opinion is irrelevant but I feel Neil is so very correct. Humbly and without any facts I have long argued that if the Universe arose from nothing then the sum total of the entire universe must be nothing. The Universe can only sum to zero if there exists a mirror negative universe. I also have never understood how the Standard model explains the existence of matter and no antimatter.. The Standerd model proposes that one part per billion survived the matter antimatter annihilation so from e=mc**2 there must be a humongous amount of erergy released in the initial matter/antimatter annihilation. Where is this energy? As all the antimatter exists in the antiuniverse the question of wheres the antimatter is is resolved.

With respect to Gravitational Entropy, this is equivalent to saying that if you have gas in one container and vacuum in the other, as soon as you open the valve connecting the two containers, the gas distributes homogeneously between the two containers (a.k.a. homogeneous universe). That is fine and dandy. The situation of the Universe is distinct. We know that masses are moving away from each other since Hubble's measurements. We know that the Universe cannot be in gravitational equilibrium because of the distances between centers of mass. In other words, galaxies are not interacting with other galaxies as atoms in gas would. I don't think one can use equilibrium concepts (Entropy is an equilibrium concept, it is described once you have a stable distribution) can be used to describe the Universe.

This is way way beyond my ability. From the audience I guess it is also way way beyond most people. When Einstein presented his theories most people also did not follow or understand. My gut feel is Turok will be bigger than Einstein. It is such a privilege to be alive when a genius figured out what we actually are. I am so humbled and so grateful. I simply wonder what amazing consequences will be discovered now that we understand what our universe is and how it actually works. As a completely unqualified person, it occurs to a possible test of the antiuniverse. The LHC could be configured to send a pulse of particles into collision then if collision debris is found before the actual collision a particle would be detected travelling backwards in time. This test would provide evidence that an antiuniverse travelling backwards in time is possible.

Congratulations on your theory. It sounds like there will be plenty of opportunities for further research and it might even have some truth in it.

When one says that "The Universe is Flat," one talks about the Intrinsic Curvature. It means that the Intrinsic Curvature at the current moment is close to zero (a.k.a. Euclidean Spacetime). It doesn't have anything to do with mass distribution. It has to do with the expansion rate. In other words, the Universe is flat, which means that the Universe is at an inflection point and would turn back into a Big Crunch. If you finesse the message, that could be interpreted that "Dark Energy" is barely winning and the Universe will continue expansion. The other interpretation, the Universe is Flat and thus has an Extrinsic Curvature of zero, would require us to measure cosmological angles (to check if triangle angles add up to 180 degrees). Obviously, that cannot be done. Of course, if the measurement were done using Galaxy Density at different distances (redshifts), that would require General Relativity to be a reliable description of the Universe; that is, the Riemannian Geometry model allowed by L-CDM would have to be a suitable description of the Universe. We know that L-CDM has failed the Tolman Test since the Kapahi article in 1987. There, Kapahi shows data about the angular size as a function of redshift z, showcasing a 1/z dependence. Einstein's anti-deSitter prediction is for an increasing angular size after z=1. So, one cannot talk about the extrinsic curvature of the Universe (that would require the acceptance of an extra spatial dimension), and Einstein's predictions are incorrect. So, I fail to understand what Dr. Turok is explaining about The Universe being Flat. Here is Kapahi and Sandage's data showing that General Relativity does not pass the Tolman Test (make wrong predictions). qph.cf2.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-635cf9c2e1a99b486a9636fc6add0326-pjlq Here is similar data from SDSS stating the same thing: qph.cf2.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-e14ffaff818693363995739cd7963f86

The universe is a teleportation device. Everything moves. All movement is teleportation. If it appears to be holographic then that is a clue to how nowhere translates to now here by adding (a) space, in the right place, to the word nowhere.

The simplicity and similarity between the very small and very large could be formed by a universal process that is relative to temperature and the phase changes of matter. At low temperature, charge is relative to the atoms and at higher temperature in the form of plasma, charge can cover a whole star or even a large area of interstellar space. As a geometrical process, this would forms Conformal geometry with angles being more fundamental than size.

The thesis seems to be that already-understood principles of physics may suffice to explain some anomalies without the addition of new physics. Even if this is dead wrong, and our modern physics can't suffice to explain the anomalies presently thought to require new physics, it's still a better approach than the majority of particle physics and cosmology, because at least we know the physics we already have explains SOMETHING, whereas all of the "new physics" brought in to try to explain dark matter and unify QM and GR has been failing to do so for 70 years. That said, Dr. Turok doesn't really provide examples of problems his approach is supposed to solve (with the exception of the dark matter = right-handed neutrinos claim) but rather only pseudo-problems that are a waste of time already. Either way, I wouldn't call it nebulous. It seems he has real claims.

There are 1 dimentional numbers ie. any single value (scalars), the are 2 dimentional numbers ie. Imaginary numbers as the 2nd axis is verticle, there are 4 dimentional # 's ie. quaternons and 8 dimentional #'s ie octanons. There are no 3 dimentional numbers. The imaginary numbers are found to describe time/space formula/calculation naturally and better than other forms. But solutions are often difficult due to interpretation as to meaning/relations. Probably requiring a conceptual shift in understanding.
