This is one of the primary indicators being used to gauge the health of a nation’s economy. It is the monetary value of all the finished goods and produced within a country’s territory within a specific period. The hospitality sector includes accommodation, food and drinks outside a person’s home. It has various impacts in the macro side of economics. The impact to macro perspective of hospitality industry includes the employment that the hospitality industry generates. This sector also contributes to the total tax collection of economy. Employment and tax contribute to the total GDP of an economy. On the other hand, tourism industry involves activities that involve travel, leisure, and sightseeing that attract tourists from various part of the world. Similar with the hospitality sector, the impact to macro perspective of tourism industry includes its contribution to tax and employment, which in turn contribute to GDP. On top of this, tourism also involves economic costs incurred for tourism businesses such as government costs for infrastructures to serve tourists and visitors better. Tourism’s economic impact is often always being considered in the planning and development of a nation.

It is a great lecture you have to explain clearly the introduction of the Micro Perspective in Tourism and Hospitality. You give the meaning of the exact definition of tourism according to UNTWO “tourism comprises of activities of a person traveling to and staying in staying in places outside their usual environment for not more than one consecutive year for leisure business and other purposes” that describe clearly and understandable. The Instructor demonstrates the definition of tourism, Classification of tourism, Components of tourism and tourism management, basic approaches to the study of tourism, and benefits and cost of Tourism management. The instructor uses simple words to describe the meaning of each information and provided an example. It helps the students to learn this lesson get the idea they needed plus it encourages the students to listen to the discussion properly. Lastly, I read some comments also it’s all positive that they learn lesson 1 in Micro perspective in Tourism and Hospitality.

It begins with the study of tourism by tracing back in time its activities and foundations. It also presents the important terms used throughout the course. It discusses the vital concepts of different sectors of the industry such as transportation, travel intermediaries, accommodation, food and beverage operations, destinations and attraction and their responsibilities as global tourism stakeholders to implement protective actions which prevent the sexual exploitation of children in tourism. It also significantly covered the economic and political impacts of tourism as well as the socio-cultural influences that affect the industry. It discusses the shape of coming tourism markets and how technological changes affect the future of tourism industry.

Hi. Let me clarify the question po. You mean, " what are the common travel constraints for top execs and businessmen?" If that's your question, I must say that corporate travel varies on every entity. Thus, constraints varies as well. But commonly, the company's travel budget can always get in the way. Another is the return of investment on any business trips taken by their personnel. Usually, owners will look at the benefits of sending staff on a business trip such as gaining new business network, explore new markets, or understand current business climate.
