Good and informative discussion, thanks to Professor Faizan and NDTV. It is one of the few times in my life when i realise that TV and news channels can be useful to the society in general and the Muslim society in particular. Would like to point out that Muslim Personal law is not entirely Hanafi law (as we get an impression from this discussion), it has a consensus of all the major Muslim Madhabs in India. in fact there are several separate provisions for Shia Muslims.

But this helpfullness is not such a thing, a person would develope his life in accordance with. This is a fact which we observe at micro level. In this case family is an entity. We ourselves say together that man should not depend on his own real brother for subsistence of him and his family. But why we and our forefathers decided to depend upon the party controlling by the community other than muslims for our social and political rights.Did we observed when mankind acts at macro level where racial linguistic and religious groups act as an entity, the nature of mankind transforms. Denial of this fact of human nature in making political policy is a real blunder which made us helpless in present scenario. Our long slumber should be opend now and we should realize depending upon congress, RJD, SP , BSP and other is nothing but a way which could bring our community to complete powerlessness where we wil have got nothing but only a loud cry which does not reaches to any ear. Therefore a time comes when we stand for own. And as per the ordinance of quran we will fight for all of the oppressed people for the sake of justice. It is a duty which has been given to us. In short review and evaluation of our long term policy adopted since 1947 is needed. Historical consequences shows this completely irrelevant. Our policy to empower so called secular forces is needed to be changed. Faizan saab at point recalling the SC verdict & Const Article and on other hand is defending draconian law on the name of religious pluralism. Yup sir, I am not against banning the cultures but against preserving something which is not Indian. For example, Triple Talaq as no mention in any ancient Indian text it was imported from central asian empire through muslim invaders, even now misused by Hindus in rural areas, as explained by Dr. Faizan. See there is only one argument in this entire discussion either a person is against Triple Talaq or with it? I know many muslim has done a peaceful talaq, the bad things only happen in only some cases. But it happens and it should be addressed, just like Hindus accepted that Sati & Dudhpiti are bad cultural practices and abolished it.

Why Uniform Civil Code is necessary? Answer: Wakf Act 1995, Has many draconian provisions, section 52 & 53 which can declare anyone has encroached & under these sections can order the person to leave with the help of DM - District Magistrate, SSP: Senior Superintendent of Police, Can that be done by Non Muslims? Do they have these privileges? There are limitations for Hindu deities to knock the doors of Court, it is having limitations with time, whereas WAKF board has no time limitations according to section 108, Is this not the violation of human rights & Equality in connection to various faiths? According to section 89 one has to send a notice to WAKF board before filing a case, it is just like parallel Government. Have you ever heard of sending notice to before filing a case? According to my knowledge it happens if a person is filing a case against Government. Section 4 & 5 WAKF Act, according to this there will be a survey of land that will be done on timely basis, whose expenses are to be bore by tax payers of India. That means you have a property, you simply chill, it's Government of India who take who bothers to do your job for free! Think, is this reality in your case? 1991 worship Act, which is also non secular, In continuation, If there are any issues faced by Churches, Temples, Gurudwara it has register a complaint with Police, Whereas WAKF can order the police if there are any discrepancy according to the board & police has to abide by it. Is this true with your Religious denominations you belong to? Can you order Police and is there a rule, where Police has to obey your orders? introspect. WAKF Act, section 40 gives the power to the board in connection to declaration of any of the property as its own. Can a normal citizen do this? Here please correct me if I'm wrong with authentic sources If there are legal issues faced by Non Muslims then they are suppose to fight in WAKF tribunal which is run by Sharia Kaanoon can they ever get Justice? I don't know, if true please enlighten me with the verdicts so given. So WAKF tribunal is an authority, hence in future if a person gets a verdict from it in favour of him/her & can challenge the opposing verdict given in the same case given by Supreme Court of India, till date it has not been done, but what is the guarantee that it is not done in future? Think. Keeping all these powers in hand, WAKF board is asking the petitioners of Mathura & Kaashi Temple that they should not fight it in Civil court but in Sharia Court A.K.A WAKF board. This is the outcome of the powers so given to the WAKF board. It also has provision of public servant in section 101. Hence we need Uniform Civil Code. for all these reasons.
