"The other day, I went to the Noguchi Museum in Takamatsu, and it was very impressive." It was a good opportunity to get a glimpse of his spirit.
Beautiful. When you consider how much goes into making them, they are worth every penny.
You bet I’m going to try and make my own
Wow, that takes so much work! Beautiful 😱
So beautiful! 😍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
So beautiful at every stage of the making process.
🤯 amazing work🤩
Very satifsying video you have made here, I enjoyed it very much. Best regards - Magnus from Denmark
Beautiful
Kind of behind the scene we love
I really wanted to see how they take the form out.
Good idea 💡
Amazing artist. Thank you for sharing this with me. I watch every video i find of these lanterns being made. I do have a question, though. Is the cord done in a continuous wrap, or are the different sizes cut as you go?
The most interesting part was missed. Wanted to see how he gets the form out.

The same way it was put together, but each piece gets slid out through the hole in the lantern.

i think it's washi paper and methyl cellulose... from what i've heard... (doesn't mean it's the only way tho)
What is the paper? Should it be wet in something?
I wonder if the ones at Ikea are made the same way.....🙂
Hypnotic; a device like a prism it reassembles energy back into a light we are drawn to.
Why?
Stop making my name into products
That still doesn’t explain why they’re so unbelievably expensive
