Guitar Center you guys put aquila nylgut strings on the guitar, those are not the same strings the guitar originally comes with. that's why the tone is a bit warmer.

I bought this to take with me on vacation. I am a classical / finger style guitarist. I couldn't be happier with it! I didn't get it for performance or recording. I got this only for practicing alone while traveling. It does sound great for the size but of course can't match the sound of a full sized guitar. The best thing about this is the full sized neck width and string spacing. It feels like a full sized guitar to the hands. Small enough to carry on a plane and put under the seat in front of you. The gig bag is a high quality too! Love it.

Hi Ezra, I just read your post May 29, 2015 and I hope you are enjoying yours as much as I am enjoying mine. Would you be kind enough to let me know which mini you chose? I have the Cordoba mini M, I play it daily and I take it with me everywhere. It stays next to my bed at nighttime. I named mine Snowdrop after my late aunt who passed away at only 3 years of age. Play on and enjoy your mini!

Bought one of these while I was in America (on holiday from UK) because I could pass it off as hand luggage on the plane haha! Had it for about 3 years and can vouch for it completely. So light and easy to get around (especially if you get it with the carry case) and it sounds beautiful. I'm a semi-pro guitarist of 15+ years and have taylors and martins lying around, and now find myself picking this up instead of those! Recorded it on a few tracks too, sounds like a deeper/richer ukulele :)

Hi! It looks like maybe you can point me in the direction of a case. I am looking for a good carry case for the Cordoba Mini to bring on the plane. It will be a carry-on and I'd like it to be lightweight but still protective enough so it doesn't break. Did you get the cordoba brand case? Or another one?

@@tomedwards81 Hi mate, at first yeah, the sound of these string are little bit dull when you compare it to full size guitar, but for ukulele sized instrument its absolutelly okey. Tuning hold after some time good, the only problem can be that bass strings are little more flopier(looser), than on full size guitar, but its not something u cant use to. Its nice set of strings, which can provide you nerly same expierence and sound like the full size with some lil lacks which i described.
