You had the hood up the first time. Of course there's going to be a difference

Brother your comment was exactly correct!
I used it in my Rover 75 diesel, tick over is a little quieter and smoother, and over the last month, topping the tank up every week, have noted an approx 2mpg improvement, used to be averaging 48 (and a bit) it’s now doing 50 and a bit, small improvement, but real. Impressive
We've had an engine with oil sump temp up to 140+C 5 times because of a novice driver, oil pressure begin to drop considerably the next day on the way back from track, so we change the oil at the next service centre we find and check the data log. Similar thing happened before, but they all ended up seizing the engine shortly afterwards if not caught on time, even so some damage is almost certain. But with Cera Tea, that engine is still running strong with no obvious damage ever occurred. It may have been pure luck, butI am impressed, and I'll stick with Cera Tec.
Joey, do you still feel the same way since your recording of liquid moli created additive?
Do we need to remove the oil like 200ml to 300 ml to addup this?
Did you notice the difference in the engine when it gets near it's redline?
What does it sounds like with the engine off?
Where do I add the ceretek into.. I know its a stupid question
To be "scientific" about it you have to compare apples to apples. So why start up with the hood open and on the second test do it with the hood closed. Also should measure the sound with a meter so you have some scientific parameter to record(db's). Also, especially on an older vehicle, a significant amount of "engine" noise is from belts, pulleys etc and this stuff won't have any effect on that.
On the video with out product , the hood of the engine is open . Not on the second one, maybe that’s why the engine is a little quieter?
if theres a db meter to measure the engine sound...i will be great. also theres a different sound level between open hood n the hood shut. Btw.. nice vid bro
Before you added the adfive in a ran the engine you had the hood up in second part of the video the hood was down which will dull some of the noise
Is very little or none information about Ceratec and GDI turbocharged engines, perhaps more you add to the oil more stuff can buildup in the intake valves?.
I also used ceratec but i felt that initially there isnt a much difference but when the car crosses 1000km you will feel the smoothness in engine.
I use it in my Maxima VQ30DE sooooo smooth soooo quiet at 200,000 ks , also in my BMW M50 engine also 200,000 ks , i also use top quality Synthetic oils , but i know from my experience the Ceratec does make the engine idle smoother , cams shoe NO wear marks after 200,000 ks in both cars
But , your vehicle hood was down 👎 on the after ?
I think a long term test is really what we need hear , over 100,000 miles , does it help , how many times a year should you put it in , once a year , every other year , every 100,000 miles , with every oil change , etc……
How about opening the hood for the after Ceratec comparison Einstein?
its supposed to feel smooth rather than quite so judging based on loudness is not correct.
Good stuff!
agree, working for me also in turno engine w 61k miles
Here is a test for you. 1. Do an injector cleaning with Liqui Moly diesel purge. 2. Do an engine flush with Liqui Moly. 3. Change filter and flush with cheap oil. 4. Change filter and use the best Liqui Moly engine oil. 5. Ad Liqui Moly Ceratech. I promise you, your car will be like new. Do a test run after the diesel purge before oil change too feel the difference.
Was the initial start a cold start? That’s going to be louder. Comparisons should be made at running temp.

+Third Coast Sailing No it was a warm start both times. And thanks for watching. I wanted to try a review, and subjective ones, feels like, sounds like, are super hard to do
How many litres of oil did you use the bottle of ceratec with?
@johnnyesleo

One bottle of Ceratec is enough for 5 litres of oil
It's an old video but what is loud that's your water pump bearing
so i added ceratec without shaking it first. Is it bad?
@khalliwallivlogs

Nah it'll get shaked inside the engine 🙊
The before hood was open, after hood was closed WTF?
You had the hood open before and closed after.
So.... did it work? So... would you recommend it? So...... what do you think?

Liqui Moly's Ceratec is great. I use it for 5 years on every oil change in my NA 240 whp BMW 323ti compact and engine's running perfect with many hours on the track.

TheBimmerfan 240whp on a 323ti? got a big ass turbo on that thing huh?
@TheBimmerfan

No, it's NA (naturally aspired).
@TheWolvesCurse

TheBimmerfan then i call bullshit. even with decat or racing cats, m50 intakemanifold and equal length exhaustmanifold and chiptuning and higher lift camshafts you'll get a maximum of 220 hp at the crank out of an m52b25, and only if the engine is in top condition and you run premium fuel. 240 wheelhorsepower from a naturally aspirated m52b25 xD stop lying.
@TheBimmerfan

You're talking bullshit, but I have no time to lose arguing with idiots. My car has much more work done than just decat, M50 intake manifold and chip. Only the custom exhaust on my car costs more than an average condition E36 323/325/328.
@TheBimmerfan

And again you have no idea - with turbo I would go for 400whp, not for 240. These engines make this (and more!) power when FI.
Let me ask you a question, my friend. The Ceratec I have to put it in the oil change or I can put it without making the change? ..... thanks

after... IT work fine with fresh oil
Very funny...opened & closed test. Big different.
The colour like a cappucino 😂
Open tge bonnet!! Will be louder!🤣🤣
Adjust your valves if you want a quiet engine. This is just suppose to give it better engine wear...something that isnt measurable without an oil analysis.

Yeah he should have kept the hood open for the viewers. He just said driving around was smoother than before. We will not know.
Open hood, cold engine vs closed hood warm engine. DUH!
You've started the car with the bonnet shut ...

yes, but I personally don't believe they filter as well and can let stuff into your engine.
10 years old isn't old.
I hope you read the instructions... 300ml to 5 liters oil... ;)

So you can't pour the whole thing of ceratec into the motor oil?
@JustifyJustin
3 жыл бұрын
@@reesespieces305 It all depends on your engine oil capacity. It is made to work optimally according to a ratio provided on the bottle. In the same way you wouldn't drink concentrated cooldrink.
@reesespieces305

@@JustifyJustin my car takes 5 quarts of oil
@JustifyJustin
3 жыл бұрын
@@reesespieces305 One bottle Ceratec treats 5 liters motor oil (I believe quarts and liters are close enough to be the same). Just remember not to overfill your oil. That stated ratio doesn't mean add one bottle to five liters, otherwise you'll have 5.3 liters in your car, which in your case will mean overfilling, which means damage to your engine. I usually subtract/drain 300ml motor oil when adding ceratec / doing my oil service.
You need to have your hood up after Ceratec. Not a fair comparison.
Appreciate the effort, but this is totally invalid due to bad control of the experiment. All other variables should be held constant if you're only gonna compare "noise". Also, if the bottle says start with fresh oil, I think you should, especially if you're gonna do a review about it.
Still sounds like a tractor, have you tried lowering the recording volume, I know that definitely works.

Yeah. Wasn’t happy with the sound quality. I was new to these, and learned a lesson.
Wtf my diesel is quieter )
This was not a test that would makee buy it.
The most unscientific thing I've seen....one has the hood closed and I'm not expecting Einstein to post additive videos
Lol it sounds as loud with the hood down👎for the snake oil
Lift the bonnet
awkward bud
Its a cool vid

Hahaahahahahahhahahahahahahaha
It's exacty same sound, even with the hood closed. Besides, engine sound does not reflect his health condition. My 130.000km cruze is running in 5w30 synthetic oil which is liquid like water. I would never add this white cream on it. Looks like a suicide. Thanks for the video anyway.
Not sure why you closed the hood but you wasted everyone's time.
