​@@iamangieh he IS an olympian. theres a cool story to this. he had a bet with his father that if he won as champion for junior olympics in fencing he would let him train to be an idol and he did win which is why he's where he is today

I usually hate US pop or just pop but Jackson Wang is someone I can't not love. Maybe he is the only Pop singer (when solo) whom I love

I read Jackson and immediately clicked. He's great! He went to an international school and is therefore fluent in english. I would suggest LMLY or Drive you home next. Also if you're interested in his old group GOT7, they have some great songs (and each if them makes solo songs too!)

He is Chinese who started his career in kpop. He was a sabre fencer from HK-China who won the championship of 2011 asian junior&cadet fencing. He studied in an international school that's why he speaks English fluently. You check his other songs too coz you will never regret it 😉

His music is not kpop because he is Chinese and all his songs are either in English or Mandarin (Chinese). It's just pop, or Chinese pop. His English is great because he went to an American international school in Hong Kong. He is fluent in at least 5 languages (man's a bit of a genius haha). He is super talented because he writes his own lyrics, directs his own music videos, etc. He basically plays a role in every part of his career. The way he says 'Hello im jackson wang from china' in every single video 💀 but yeah hes from hongkong but speaks like a bajillion languages becuase he went to an international school and was a fencer that travelled worldwide on top of moving to korea for kpop. So cantonese mandarin korean english are all great from him.

Jackson did start off from kpop but he is more into "i-pop" now. He sings in chinese, english and korean and he delivers in many different genres of music. Jackson is actually Chinese. He studied in an intenational school, so he grew up learning and studying in english, and was also a Junior Olympic Fencer, then he moved to Korea and got into a kpop band called Got7, that's the Korean part of him. He speaks several langueges... Now he's got his own Label, called "Team Wang", and working as a soloist. He's a preaty incredible artist. He is really proud of his Chinese roots, and although many chinese kpop atists in Korea are being told not to talk about their origin (there is a lot of dislike, to say the least, againg chhinese in Korea for some reason) and actually hide that, he prodly talks abou it and uses a lot of symbols of chinese cultre in his music and music videos, like he does here. with the clothes and traditional "war"/"fight scene" in is dance choreo.

He's Chinese but also I don't know if i would listen to a song and be like oh that sounds like kpop. Kpop isn't really one specific genre of music despite it's "name". It's just a wide variety of genres of music that's in Korean.

Jackson, he is from HONG KONG, but has spent most of his time living in South KOREA, he belonged to the amazing group GOT7, which disbanded a couple of years ago. If you check GOT7's discography, you will be delighted. It was one of the famous KPOP groups. As for Jackson, he's a multi-talent. He Composes, Produces and Directs even his own videos. He speaks several languages, and obviously English, let's remember that he is from Hong Kong, English is also spoken there apart from Mandarin Chinese. He speaks Spanish not very fluently but he gets by, of course Korean, Japanese and I don't know if any other language. He is a fantastic dancer, in short he is a very talented guy. He is super outgoing and has been featured on TV and Radio shows in North America. He is very close friends with James Corden and even goes to the Spanish speaking radio stations in Florida. He's an interesting guy with an amazing personality. You must see their videos they are very good. 🤗😊🙋💜

Thanks for this great comment but let me correct some minor inaccuracies: Jackson is 27 now (28 this year) and he spent less than 10 years in Korea. Yes, he speaks many languages but they speak Cantonese in Hong Kong, not Mandarin. Jackson can speak Mandarin, Cantonese and Shanghainese though. He doesn't speak Spanish but he does know some French. You're right about him knowing Japanese, Korean and English 😊 He is indeed a super talented, hardworking guy with an amazing personality ❤

Got7 have amazing music. The members are so incredibly talented, even thought they don't belong to the same company anymore. Please check out the baby of the Got7 group, Bam Bam. Bam Bam and Seulgi of Red Velvet have a music video that's just hauntingly beautiful, called "Who Are You". Other Kpop groups that are absolute fire are: Exo "Don't Mess Up my Tempo". Nct127 "Sticker" and Mino "Tang". All incredible music videos. I'm American and I love all genres of music, especially our 80's and 90's songs. Kpop reminds me of when music and videos had more substance and artistry. They are incredible performers.
