I highly recommend watching their show RUN, BTS. It’s on the VLIVE app, all shows are free. If you want the extra behind the scenes that costs. VLIVE has a ton of artists on it. BTS goes live to hang out with ARMY. Sometimes it’s planned, sometimes it’s just chill and chat. The RUN, BTS show is also in WeVerse with some of the more recent shows. WeVerse is a social media site where they interact, & several other groups too. It started with others in their label, then other Korean groups, & now Western groups are joining too. I’m sorry if I over explained, don’t know how familiar you are with all this. And maybe it will be informative for someone else? Have a great day! 👋🏻

Unlike other artist who does it purely for money and fame. This guys are really on a different level. People may have suggested this before but if you WANT to get to know them more personally I would suggest watching their ‘Run BTS’ episodes. You can watch them on Vlive and Weverse. They’re honestly really hilarious and they don’t take themselves too seriously and they’re always laughing at each other which makes me love them even more lol

One thing I find really fun about BTS' full English singles is that even though they're total bops, it's almost like the master playing amongst amateurs. They've gone so above and beyond basic Western pop music, and now they can play in this specific corner of the music industry with absolute expertise

Rather than them finding themselves as the reason to do this sort of music more, I don't think this is their defined style but rather this is how they get "in" the western music world e.g. gunning for Grammys again. Sad fact that I think they've accepted is a Korean language song is very unlikely to be nominated.

When I first heard the song, I was a little underwhelmed, but I've been listening to it all day to get the views and I'm really into it now. I feel like it's that way with me with all of their songs.

I agree with what he said about them sounding the same and looking the same when you first start listening because I was the same way, but now that I have listened to them more, I can tell each person's part without really listening.

I love the beat of the beat of this as it gives me queen vibes. It's so so cute and such a beautiful song and it's also got that sexy vibe to it aswell. I couldn't stop smiling at it as the song is so catchy and I now have the chorus stuck in my head. The vocals are amazing and the raps omg I love then so much. I was thinking about the direction of BTS' music and I actually think that Dynamite really did opened a different channel for them to produce more different music. I believe the way BTS has been constructing their albums kinda push them into making title tracks fitting into the theme/concept and the message of the album, so most of the time their title tracks had to be the leading narrative for the album that they were coming out with. Dynamite being the first single that wasn't plan to be included in an album really did gave them the chance to do a single song that stands on its own. So singles like Dynamite and Butter can be made with the aim for a wider audience and the musical style could be more consistent in that sense. Cause if you look at Life Goes On we can see that for albums title tracks, they were still be made with concepts and message as the foundation of musical choices. So I guess we will have to see if the next title track will still be the same musical style and production as Dynamite and Butter or not, pretty interesting thing to look for.

I feel like Butter is a upgraded version of Dynamite. If we go lyrically ofc Butter is better than Dynamite cause the lyrics feel a bit more minimalistic (we know BTS lyrics are usually complicated to comprehend because the lyrics are mostly deep). If we go MV wise then again Butter is better (Dynamite is not bad MV but now if look at it. It is not much compared to Butter as Butter has a bit more context to the MV. Butter MV is creatively made you can see the camera work is perfectly done then also all the boys have a dance break). I personally have no problem with BTS making songs in English (as long as they're comfortable with it). I'm looking forward to more such songs in the future. Army fighting!!!

the only point where u were wrong was when u said that they have started to find the essence bcoz no one can ever predict what their next mv will sound like ... I was looking for this kind of comment. I totally agree. They already have their essence, but they always are trying new styles, and that's something I love about them. I love Dynamite and of course I love Butter, but I like even more their work from the beginning until MOP 7. I would say for example that Black Swan is a peace of art.

i find it so interesting that you said butter highlights their individual quirks and lets each member shine. actually upon receiving the song, rm rewrote about half of the rap lyrics in a way that would fit with each rapper (rm, j-hope and suga) and their unique styles! also i personally feel like have the song being only vocal line until the end when the rap line came in was super fun and a change up from their usual structure.

Honestly Blake's transformation into an ARMY is so similar (yet much more intelligent) than mine, it makes me grin every time he posts about them
