I would say Letter og Lie by Jimin. Lie is a live performances, Letter is a hidden track you can find on KZread... Emotions and message is a big part of Park Jimin 😍

1980s synth wave was my time,....the 80s!...(I'm 64)....but that is not why I love this song. It's Jimin. His voice is so unique and so captivating. With BTS or on his own, he slays me, man....

Thank you for an interesting analyse of Jimin's vocals. I think you would enjoy every one of his solo songs, as he is constantly working on the new ways of delivering the emotions - Lie, Serendipity, Friends, Promise, Filter, Christmas Love, and all other songs from his first album FACE - Face Off, Alone, Set Me Free Pt. 2, and the hidden track Letter. Maybe it's not much of the solo songs for 10 years of the artistic career, but each one is a gem. And there is a lot of Jimin's vocals sparkling in most of BTS songs. Greetings from Canada💜

Jimin and Jungkook can both do these seamless register transitions, which makes it a challenge to figure out what they're technically doing at any point. And Jimin is bright even down low, so... Good luck, basically. 🤣 You might enjoy checking out the many things he does with his voice in Set Me Free pt 2. He's got some effects going on but he's also using completely different techniques - this song is pretty much the voice i was used to, that one is not. And he turns himself into many different voices to have a conversation with himself... I love how much he experimented to tell that story.

This is my first time hearing your reactions, and I enjoyed it very much. Thank you so much for appreciating our Jimin‘s voice. His voice has changed a lot over the years, and he has never been very confident in his singing. For Jimin’s solo work, I recommend Serendipity live, as well as Lie live. (Letter lyric video as well) For BTS reactions, I enjoy the live performances the most. You can hear their vocal perfection, despite doing massive amounts of choreography!

I really enjoyed watching you do the synth wave vocalizations. It was great, I love Jimin's voice since high tenors just are so rare. But your vocalizations were great. 😂

Was not expecting to get a Jimin reaction from you, but really appreciated this video! He has such a unique sound and hearing him move through his range is so satisfying. 💜 As for your question about switching between languages, BTS indeed does it a lot, but it's not just them. It's pretty common in kpop. Sometimes it's just certain words or parts of a sentence, sometimes it's a sentence here or there, sometimes it's certain verses, the chorus or hook. For BTS in particular, sometimes some of the English lines are a deliberate choice to make these parts easier to sing along with for international fans, because some of the Korean sounds might be hard to pronounce. (Having 50,000-100,000 people in a stadium all joining in on a song at full volume is always amazing to witness, although to be fair many of those fans will just as happily join in on the Korean.) But other times, it's simply because of the amount of syllables or type of sound they want or need for particular sections. I imagine it's similar for other groups.

There are some excellent BTS vocal line songs you might enjoy (mostly only available as live versions) like House of Cards, Truth Untold, Zero O'Clock. I love all of Jimin's solos. They use their voices in such interesting ways.

The acoustic version of like crazy is really good! And is live!

He definitely IS a member of BTS as all 7 are. They have mandatory military enlistment in their country, so while some do that, the others dislike the idea of being 5-6 so they are taking their time to find their own color to strengthen the team even further. :) The group consists of 3 rappers (they can all sing) and 4 vocalists who sing heavenly well. If you are interested, maybe you can do some song or compilation of all 4 to see more or less what they are capable of. And maybe later check some group's songs ^^ (I know you did the tiny desk and the fix you cover but that's just scratching the surface xD) BTS has 3 English songs, but all their songs are either Korean or Japanese. And yes, they include some ENglish words or sentences here and there (from a "yeah" to a "I'm so sorry but it's fake love" XD)

Please react to BTS Fim Out live. It's really interesting because is covers a wide octave range and you see how each member tackles the flip into head voice differently. I actually think Jimin does this whole song in chest voice which is crazy considering how high it gets. In Film out he goes higher in full belt.

BTS did not break up or lose any members, but they are focusing on seven solo albums while the members take turns fulfilling their military duty for their country. This is a part of every K-pop group's career. They will be a group again in summer 2025. Until then I hope you take some time to check out Jimin's other recent singles, as well as some great songs by the other members. My suggestions: "Vibe" is a collab Jimin did with his role model, Taeyang, the main vocalist of BigBang. In "Vibe" you will hear a completely different set of skills from Jimin. The producer went in a very different direction than we are used to, and the song highlights Jimin's lower register more then most songs. He also raps! AND... There is a live clip to watch. Search for "Taeyang Vibe Live Clip" "The Astronaut" by Jin is a pop vocal masterpiece that shows off his rich, steady notes. Bonus: You can opt to react to the one and only live performance of this song he did in Buenos Aires at Platte Stadium with Coldplay (who co-wrote and co-produced the song). Search for "The Astronaut Live English Sub" for a version with lyric subtitles. Jimin's other latest single "Set me Free Pt.2" is a highly processed song in parts, but the effects are obviously intentional and allow the listener to experience yet another different side of Jimin's voice. It's going to shock you. The live version might be blocked if you try to react (network copyright), but there is a music video. Bonus: The pared-down dance performance in this MV is going to speak to you as a stage performer. I think you will love the performance as much as the vocals. Suga released an album this month, and the remake he did of "Life Goes On" really shows that he has been practicing his singing! For a rapper it's impressive. You have to search for "Agust D Life Goes On" to get the correct version. No MV and no decent live version, but you can probably find a lyric video. (Edit) Rappers RM and J-hope have also released solo albums recently, and each of them offer some great vocals. RM's "Hectic" from Indigo and j-hope's "=" from Jack in the Box are good examples.

He is still a member of BTS. They are just on hiatus due to mandatory military enlistment. Two of the member have already enlisted and are now in the military. The member will enlist one by one. Their contract with Big Hit/Hybe is still valid until 2027. They will be back as a group in probably 2025 or 2026. Because they don't want to hunger their fans with their music, the group decided to release their solo albums. RM's album INDIGO and Jhope's JACK IN THE BOX were released last year. Jimin and Suga just released their albums recentrly. LIKE CRAZY is the main Tract of Jimin's album, FACE. Suga's solo album D-DAY is the third one but this is his official solo album because the other two were just mix tapes. He is now on a solo world tour. Now, Jungkook and V are in the process of making their albums. Jin, who was the first member to enlist didn't have time to work on his album but he rleased the song ASTRONAUT, a gift for ARMY before enlisting. J-Hope has collaborated with an American rapper J-Cole in the song HOPE ON THE STREET, also a gift for ARMY before enlisting. Jin wil probably work on his solo album when he comes back from the military. ARMYs will be waiting for the boys to come back in two or three years. We have much time to save up for their world tour. 💜💜💜💜💜

There is no "was", or will ever be: Jimin will always be a member of BTS. All members do solo works even in their own BTS albums.

If you'd like more of Jimin, Serendipity live could be a good choice (I think the one from the channel IPurpleYou was ok). Will be able to see a reaction to The Truth Untold live from all the vocalists as well? 👀 BTS has no thought of separating, they'll be back fully together around 2025 after their obligatory military service ;) And regarding collaborations, you do what you want! I generally watch more singer, producer and songwritter reactions than videographer's reactions tho

Jimin's voice can be pretty mesmerizing and it's nice to see a reaction really analyzing his vocals and not only "he's a great dancer, wow he sings high". I would love to see more Jimin reactions and a collab with a vodeographer sounds interesting. I'm sure you'll get lots of suggestions for Jimin songs so I'll throw in something completely different. Last saturday Dimash had a solo concert in Yerevan, Armenia. Just hours before the show he heard an Armenian folk song "Sareri Hovin Mernem" that he liked so much that he decided to perform it during the concert to show respect and gratitude towards the local audience. He got a standing ovation, it's a haunting performance and at the end he uses his voice to mimic the sound of the Duduk (Armenian national instrument).
