Ateez Towards the Light: Will to Power tour just began! The first tour in Seoul has finished and GOD it's incredible!!! They rly put everything in the production of the concert. It's like a musical, with live band, total 25 songs performed, with acting scenes, extra dance breaks, VCRs, audience interaction stuff like literally a sci-fi eyeball at the top moving and looking at the audience. And a huge hand in the middle of the stage, etc. It's so creepy and awesome. Jongho performed Everything and he added in an extra high note for the concert. The lighting changed to snowy light purple...it was so dreamy with his vocals shining. And i just saw it in a concert clip, i can't imagine what it's like to be there in person! They will go to Japan next, then they'll come to the US i think. Ateez really raised the standard of concerts. Their previous Break the Wall tour got the Best Concert Award last year. Now, Will to Power is completely just another level!

I bought a concert ticket and flew to Phoenix to see Ateez because I HAD to hear Jongho hit the high notes live, and he did not disappoint. He belted those notes perfectly. He didn’t go sharp, he didn’t go flat, he literally dropped the jaw of my sister-in-law that I bribed to go with me. That voice, and the insane choreography that Ateez does at the same time…not human doesn’t even seem like hyperbole. But speaking of voices, I wonder what you would think of BtoB’s performance on Dingo’s killing voice. Sure more than half of their songs are ballads, but it’s just a medley so none of them last very long, and the vocal talent approaches Jongho’s, even if it might not quite equal it. Jongho even sang a song with BtoB’s Eunkwang on Kingdom:Legendary War, which Eunkwang arranged to showcase Jongho and Seungmin from Stray Kids’ voices. In fact, ever since they did that show together Minhyuk, BtoB’s main rapper says that Stray Kids treat his apartment like it’s their second dorm.

Yes!! As someone that doesn’t like ballads Jongho is the only person to get to listen to one. I think he will go a far way,he’s already singing for Korean Dramas like Reborn Rich, I just need him to have more recognition in Korea and he’s getting there! Yes, He does have the longest trainee period. He used to be in a youth choir as a kids as well and he chose to sing instead of becoming an athlete (his entire immediate family all have a profession in athletics) he’s literally K-pop’s Troy Bolton 🤭.

Technicality is great, no denying that. But I'm not 'drawn' to technicality, I'm drawn to a voice that makes me 'feel' something. Jongho is not just my bias of Ateez, which is also my favorite kpop group, his voice moves me. So I agree with you. There are a few idols within kpop that can do that for me and they're NOT the most technically talented. Also, I watch all of your Ateez content. Thank you for your reactions and appreciation. Have you seen his Wildflower cover???

Exactly! It's not technical skill that moves the soul. His voice (at least for me) is beyond what is simply accomplished via vocal classes. I have not seen his wildflower cover, I'll have to check it out

@@AmariLeone They are about to drop the international concert dates for their world tour any day now. I am closest to Atlanta and they had two dates there last tour. I am hoping they do that again so I don’t have to fight so hard for tickets.

This song gives me he most ginormous goosebumps (almost painful!) from the first note every single time! I’m not a ballad person either but I can listen to Jongho sing all day long. He is just so absolutely amazing! 😍

I have to say, I watch all your Ateez reactions, please don’t stop. As for Jongho, I always tell my husband that I want to be wrapped up in Jongho’s voice and he just needs to deal with it. There is just that certain something the makes it so wonderful to hear and to be immersed it.

He wasn’t born with it but he practiced a lot that it seems so natural as if he was really was born with this :) our youngest member is our treasure and we’ll take care of him forever :)

I would watch Jongho stand in the snow and sing and be perfectly happy, also. Actually, in late December he did a scheduled livestream on the official ATEEZ KZread channel to do karaoke...and even though it was at about 4:30am my time, I set an alarm so I'd be awake for it. He did some lovely songs and some of the other members joined in as well (which I wasn't expecting).
