I hope the person who passed is resting peacefully. I worked for a restoration company that also did bio-hazard clean ups like this one. It’s interesting to see how it’s done in another country. Very thorough and respectful. Working with the families of the deceased was always heartbreaking but also rewarding in that I think I helped make a very sad situation a little bit more bearable. Sometimes the family member(s) just need to talk to someone about what happened, how it happened and maybe why it happened. I have broad shoulders and it made me feel better to carry some of their grief for them. 🙏🏼❤

Wow this is a real pivot from most of your content. I appreciate how you’re highlighting all kinds of work, jobs I might not think someone would make a video about. Respect to those workers. Theirs is difficult work for a lot of reasons.

The Eastern cultures were not typical for such occurrences but the westernization and the subsequent wokeism will fuel more such issues. "Family is our most reliable insurance and marriage is our most sacred institution" The current generation in its rat race fueled by the aesthetic progress of the west have gave up this idea. Soon we will be engulfed in the self imposed mental conditions. Unfortunately what we can do, is just give them some fancy name and a suggested allopathy treatment.

I've always taken multiple passes. Obvious stuff - gone. Then go through it again and again and .........again. It takes forever. See my other comment. I found a 5000 US Savings Bond under a sheet of paper lining a dresser drawer.

@@DrFiero I had another aunt die. She kept a perfect small house. Collected figurines. I'm on the east coast in the USA. Her son lived in Colorado. He comes to the funeral. He lives thousands of miles away. He didn't have the time. Says to me and another cousin that lived local. "I'm cleaning the house out. If you take stuff, great. If not, it goes in the trash". I rented a UHaul. Took a lot of furniture. My mom got the TV. The other local cousin did the same. The son had a large trash can and was going "Want this?". Most of the figurines ended up in the trash. Can't blame him, but I felt real bad about it. He was in his early 60s at that point. His life wasn't here.

Maybe they are more careful that that with paper. Years ago, I was cleaning out my aunt's house. In a bedroom dresser drawer UNDER a sheet of paper lining the whole drawer I found a $5000 US Savings Bond made out to a cousin. Really important documents can easily be overlooked. I was tempted to rip it up and throw it out. The cousin never went to the funeral and didn't live that far away. She did not deserver my aunt's charity. But, it was the cousin's.

Yes, but it should be a family member or relatives who should do that. Important document like that should not be known / read by non family member. Maybe instead of throwing documents/mail away, the workers could give them to the family / relatives. In case there's none, they could be handed over to a government official or something. Just my thought.

I watch every one of these. Sorry, I can’t watch this. I’m an ex-policeman of 16 years. I worked in an older residential area and got a dead body (elderly and alone) nearly every week. Most were either in the bath, on the toilet or in bed with the electric blanket on 3, and weren’t reported for at least a week or so after they died. I’m happy not to do that job anymore.
