I'm up watching all of these videos back to back! 😂 I stopped watching wrestling for a few years, but when I did I went to shows and I loved it. Recently I started back watching wrestling and I fell in love with it all over again. So, I decided that I want to be a pro wrestler. These videos are helping me so much. Thanks a ton

Justin, your head in the business is so awesome. I hope you never lose the love for pro wrestling. I have lost some interest in what is going on story wise with ownership taking too much TV time, wwe and tna. But your energy and passion keeps me wanting more.

Just gonna say I caught your slot on the latest Stone Cold show, and when I heard you had this series I just paused the podcast to come watch every episode. Really good series, thanks for making it. I would love to be a pro wrestler ("the boyhood dream"), but I know I won't have the chops. 6 foot, about 150 pounds? No chance, unless I worked out a lot. Regardless, I would say you have covered a lot of stuff really well, but if I had to ask one more thing, would you please do some episodes on tag matches/teams? You hear a lot about singles, but you never really hear much about the dynamics of a tag match, and I would be extremely interested in hearing your advice.

Great topic! I could talk about this forever. I was a wrestling fan since 1965 but lost my interest in the current wrestling style of wrestling in about 2000.Match psychology is the reason I don't plop my hard earned dollars down anymore. The matches now have the psychology of a slick commercial instead of a fight ( I still watch occasionally hoping!). Heck ECW was actually broadcast in an infomercial time slot in the Boston area. But it was a commercial for great fights! I went every chance I could. As a bit of a smark, who likes to read old school wrestlers biographies and anything about the old territory day, the psychology of the wrestling business during that time is fascinating, multi-layered stuff! Wrestling was a (it may still be) a perfect microcosm for geopolitics and outright mind control. I hope some kids listen to you Justin that way I can start watching the current wrestling again and be the old dude at the matches.

I see peeps throwing Cena's name out. I am not a fan but he is this generation's Hogan and even when Hogan was huge in his day, he was not all that remarkable of a ring technician. Even in japan hogan pulled out extra stuff you didnt see in WWF but it was the same moves specific for japan. What they had was tight psychology and charisma. Yes, baby faces shouldn't get booed out of the building but look who is doing the boos....Smart marks/Males...look who is cheering, kids and women. The "let's go cena/Cena sucks" chants is in the same vein as "you suck" chants Angle got. It's a different generation and era in wrestling as a whole. The business is different and has evolved. It's like JC said in the vid, good psychology can make the average wrestler great.
