Very informative and just what I needed on my newly arrived housing.

You can glue a magnet to you lens cap and stick it to your bottom plate.Buy a Technisub Micromask and a adult size normal snorkel for much better diving. The full face thing is made for surface only.Wear a few kg of weights helps a lot in staying down at the bottom. If you don't have any, exhaling at the bottom also helps to relax and stay down.

I use a similar housing for the rx100 and it also works very well!

It's honestly the cheapest and one of the best solutions that always get consent great content.

Tom for the cap, use red loctite and glue either a small magnet or industrial hook n loop "velcro" to the cap and body so they have somewhere to go.

You can use anti-fog on the lens like what you use on scuba masks too

Good review and underwater tips. The images looked much better than a small action cam with fish eye warping. Would love to see a review on the Panasonic ZS100 camera if you get a chance.

Great info and video. INFO to everyone... Silica gel packets need to be refreshed often! -At only 200 degrees Fahrenheit for five minutes in an oven or toaster oven. (93.3* C) Then store in a SMALL airtight pill bottle. MOIST AIR fills them with water, again. Use at least two in these housings. (BE CAREFUL not to get packets stuck in Housing seal) Happy diving!

Just stick a piece of Velcro to the front of the lens cap and the other side of the Velcro to the side of the case. Stuff works great under water.

Main difference will be that the a6300 and a6500 that he mentions do 4K. a6000 will do full HD. Still a great camera for this.

Do you know of one for the GH4 and GH5?

There is a GH5 housing from Meikon (who are sister company of SeaFrogs). It doesn't support all of the camera functions however, so you'd have to accept limited underwater functions on what is an amazing camera. Right now the only full function option will set you back as much as the camera.

The people who drown are only the ones that bought cheap knockoff ones with faulty valves and people who conflicted with the manual and the users guide and cannonballed themselves into the water with these so if you buy an original one (tribord easybreath or some other compatitors decathlon also has one with the name subea)they are more than safe for what they are made for

The only problem with the housing is that it does not work with multiple cameras. I use the Outex housings. Their kits work with all of my lenses. outex.com/

Problem with these masks is that you cant regulate the pressure in your ears. For snorkeling at the surface it seems almost perfect, i wont recommend going in the deep because you can blowup your ear holes...

Sony A6500 is $1,500, how is that affordable man 😢 the Olympus TG-6 is better and cost $359.

Ha ha...The toy camera is useless and not "professional". Try a GH5 in a Nauticam instead. BUT...that stupid mask could kill you. Please leave the underwater advice to certified experienced divers... Like your other videos.

the a6500 is a perfectly good underwater camera. This housing in the video does limit its use for wide-angle, but for those that cannot afford a full Nauticam housing, it would produce excellent results in the right hands. GH5 in Nauticam is relatively peerless for video, outside of Pro SLR territory, but not everyone has pockets that deep ($5k+ for GH5, lenses and housing with port)
