So nice to see someone else advocating not just hacking all the pitchers off come winter, both dead and alive, as the alive ones are still photo synthesising and providing the plant with some nutrients. Always thought that was just wrong. Never thought about the frost protection aspect as it does not get that cold here in the south of the UK.

Beside the alive ones, the dead ones still have lots of bugs inside which keeps the plants fed
