This was a really good video, i really appreciate how he cares about hurting the fishes mouth . Its awesome when anglers still have respect for the fish. Catch and release helps theeco system. Of course we will keep some sometimes but i like to let em go and let em grow most of the time. Thanks for the video
Great video. The drag thing is why I love a reel with a bait feeder option

Weight choice will depend on the depth and current speed. If you want your bait to remain stationary, 1-2 oz depending on your area should get the job done. But you also should have heavier weights in case

If I sign up to be a member do I get access to the course or is it extra on top of membership?
@Saltstrong

Some courses are included and other Mastery Courses need to be purchased. This is a separate course from membership

@@Saltstrong so I need the insider club the more for this. How much is it once I’m in the club. It’s a bit confusing that I need a membership and then also pay for course.

would a "bait runner" type of real work?
@jefflemaster2850
2 жыл бұрын
Yes I use a okuma bait runner when fishing dead bait all the time. Usually I have the bait runner in a holder- then I cast around with another rod to search for other fish.

That’s the fun part of catching reds is letting them run
@Saltstrong

So much fun!
The reason behind the lighter color on reds on the beach is because of their diet. They spend more time eating bait fish, and less time eating crustaceans.
I joined the club..but got disconnected before I finished final step and card was already charged. I am a sub of you, Brant, Ron, D, Freddie....I need help getting connected to complete

I was told reds don't hang on the beach or surf and that they prefer cover. Was told no cover like mangroves no reds...I call BS now

For the really big ones they like the surf. For the medium to small ones, they like seagrass and mangroves.
