I viewed it more as disinterested. He didn't really have much to bring to the table.

They definitely edit this show in such a way to make the conversations appear to be something they're not. It's most obvious at 2:50 onwards where the guy is actually leaning forward when the girl is talking, but his 'reactions' (that they've snipped from another time) have him leaning back.

The AUS version of the show seems much more edited and distorted than the UK and Irish versions of the show.

It's always freaked me out how some ridiculously hot girls are actually nervous about their looks.

It’s because some women are so attractive that most guys are too nervous to approach them. Since they rarely get approached they feel as if they’re missing something that attracts potential partners and it messes with them. Same can happen to men as well

She’s like me at blind date, definitely. First girl I like in this entire show until now. She has that innocence

Some of these dates are a bit silly. How can you have a real relationship with someone hundreds of miles from you? They need to pair people up that live close together. It would raise the success rate demonstrably. Otherwise these couples are mostly short term hookups with the added excitement of being on the telly.

I like how sort of vulnerable and sweet she seems. He seems nice enough, I don't get why he's getting so much hate. This is a pretty short clip so you don't know everything about him from this little heavily edited clip.
