Why isn’t this girl a Global Superstar? She is so much better than 99% of the current artists in the charts that its crime. More people deserve to hear her and see what their missing out on.

I agree with you about why Morissette’s name is not more famous around the world. I think everyone has their theories behind why she’s not but it’s definitely not because of her amazing once in a generational voice! For me fame and success is not all about the measure of how much money you have. In my opinion success comes from persistent, hard work, never giving up and with certain doors of opportunities arising through your life. It’s all about the quality of life you live and with The Lord by her side I think she is already successful!

Fame also money and success- without money no concert abroad or world tour..when your famous because of your amazing talent then you should be rewarded like Morissette in the Philippines…Unfortunately she doesn’t make enough to pay for a world tour concert , this is sad because she love’s nothing but to entertain her fans, best way for that is on the stage all over the world.

Great reaction Jarvis! Completely agree with you. Morissette is a generational artist and should be amongst the top singers in the world. i also agree that there are reasons why she is not. Some are for the ones that you are thinking and others are within her own camp. I believe at some point it will be inevitable that she will get global recognition as an A-list singer. Eventually composers will start coming to her in the same way they do some of the other great singers....and she has her own composed music which is wonderful. Time will tell. If you watch again during Versacchi she puts the mike back on the stand, and in the Bruno Mars drum cam video it's one take. " If you don't believe me,just watch."

The audio-vocal track we're hearing is based on a single run-through of one of the 2 performances they recorded. The video obviously used cuts from the two performances using multiple cameras and so the video editing does show that.

There was actually an interview and they said that they only recorded 2 and the second was just only for back up in case some shot happens.

I think America is in an era where belting and vocal acrobatic isn’t much of an importance. If you notice music on the radio nowadays sucks. It’s like they went backward. They mostly just Whispher singing haha. In case you didn’t know Bruno is half Filipino. His music is highly looked up to by many Filipino artists in the Philippines. This song was made to dedicate to Bruno on his birthday. By the way one of the cast of Fresh Prince from BelAir is trying to get Bruno and Mori on a collaboration.

Singing doesn't always have to be belting! Singers are talented in different ways. The Philippines also have singers that sings with more breathy tones but that doesn't make them any less of a singer because they create songs that has helped alot of people just because you have a different opinion doesn't mean you can put down someone's hard work!
