This is legit. I always wonder how larger sized athletes from football, basketball, or baseball would fare in motorsports because it too is such a core based and grueling sport. I never realized how important having a strong core is until I began riding sport bikes. Strong core will DEFINITELY alleviate any back pains you're having from longer rides. So this is pretty cool to see.

I'm 6'5" 230 and sometimes ride my wifes R3 on the track and think I look big... one of those dudes PLUS you on an r3?...completely insane. Also, was killer to watch you race in person at my home track ( the Ridge) last weekend. Sorry about the heat...all us locals say a special prayer to keep the rain away for our track days... guess we went overboard. Good luck at Laguna!

Shane’s a great guy. When I first met him, working at TLD and him riding for TLD/Red Bull/Honda, he got around town on a cruiser, like a Route 66 or Rebel or something. When I bought my 2014 FZ-09, I offered to let him ride it, but he declined. I teased him that he was just scared of anything bigger than a 250.
