Regarding the Naruto meme: I think japanese animation studios often outsource parts of their animation process to other countries xD (stuff like coloring, backgrounds, in-between animations, and other minor details) and I think this pole style very clearly shows where this specific episode was outsourced to! very nice clue and piece of knowledge

Hey zig, regarding your 25k moving practice vid the other day with GC: I'm sure it's beneficial to practice the skill in methods such as that, but I don't think nailing the precise 5k is worthwhile in a tournament context - the main thing is getting the information quickly; and after that, plonking a rough and speedy 4990/4950 etc. in the correct town/region is much more advantageous than spending a bunch of seconds more lining it up exactly merely for a few extra points. There were a number of occasions in the last EMEA tournament where a player would have knocked their opponent out if they had just plonked as soon as they found the information which gave them the general location, but instead they took an extra 10-20 seconds lining up roads etc. which ended up being enough extra time to also give their opponent the time to find the information, whereas until that point they had been completely clueless and would have been destroyed. There are no big bonus points in the tournament for a 5k as opposed to a 4990 other than showing off, so it's really a case of perfect being the enemy of plenty good enough. The only occasion when a player can bother to land the precise 5k is if the timer is already running down from 15seconds so they know their faffing around isn't also pointlessly giving their opponent extra time. Keep the moving vids coming though - they're enjoyable.

That naruto japanese pole one is really interesting, I have a story about it. Around the time I started getting in to geoguessr, i was watching Monogatari (Bake i think?) with a friend and saw the "taiwanese" pole stripes. I had to pause the show to show my friend that they use vertical stripes in japan, but I clicked in the city in Nagoya and the pole right there in japan had DIAGONAL stripes. It was a little awkward. Anyway, diagonal stripes do exist in Japan, at least in Nagoya. They don't go around the entire pole iirc, but from some angles you can't tell that. The stripes are also much thinner than Taiwanese ones.

I have a great video idea, what if you made a video similar to the classic Ludwigs video when Geowizard was trying to guess the country by Ludwig explaining what he sees, you could ask some of your Irl friends to be the explainers or maybe someone like rainbolt or whichever pro, but in the case of a pro player explaining there should be a rule for them not to tell you a clue that they know gives away the country so you have to ask the right questions. At the end if you maybe do the friend and the pro version you could compare the 2 and see which person got you the most correct guesses. I think this is a solid video idea and hope it helps. You could also shout me out for the idea ;) if you end up making the video.
