I prefer the look of the OM photos mainly due to how the light looks. Maybe, show a compilation of each's photos next time at the end. Can't also judge from a single event.

Hello Sam, nice to see you :) I love that Jamie's fly photo (3:54) also this water drop on the insect looks fantastic (6:45). I like this portrait of spider too (8:53). The winner photo for me is that spider eating fly - that looks stunning (15:05). Thank you guys for another interesting video and pictures. I love this channel and vibe here.

It's quite nice for macro photography down south. I've found a few interesting subjects down Cornwall. I'm glad you're enjoying the content :)

Interesting video. I believe a good point to make here is that no matter the gear or experience, focus on quality over quantity. Slow down and take your time. Going home with one brilliant photo, is much more satisfying than going home with 100 mediocre photos.

Interesting experiment, and entertaining to watch! From the video it does seem like the more expensive (and more technically advanced) camera equipment can provide a big leg-up to a new photographer. But clearly you need to have the extra cash for it! (And did Sam do his own postprocessing too?) I'll bet the benefit of your skill and experience would have shown up much more if Sam had tried to use the older, cheaper equipment. The technical capability of the equipment does matter, but experience helps you get the best from that equipment.

Hello Sam, amazing content! I really enjoyed the stacking video, that was so helpful. Are you planning on one covering Olympus settings and modes you use? Just made the switch from canon to Olympus and feel a bit confused setting it all up.

@@JamieSpensley thank you Sam! They should make you an ambassador. Thanks to you I ended up purchasing the OM-1 with the 90mm on Friday. I’m having issues figuring things out after switching from a canon dslr. Not sure if it’s just user error or one of the two is defective. Looking forward to the settings video and what ever else you have planned. Keep Ip the amazing work.
