@@alexantone5532 honestly, gyimnastics isn't the most "creative" sport.. you have predetermined moves, mostly, which you train unto perfection. There's actualy a word for "understanding movement", sort of how quickly do you grasp how you need to move in a specific situation (I forgot what the word for it is), but it's apparently a relatively specific skill that some people are naturaly better or worse at. You'd actualy expect to find this skill more prevalent in people that do sports where you constantly need to adjust according to the current situation, like for example MMA, in gymnastics you don't actualy need that much of it when you think about it.

One thing you can do as a training exercise is climb as silently as possible. This is great for beginners, to get their minds away from grabbing everything with too much power and focusing more on your feet. It's good for coordination and also, naturally, gives you some more strenght, because you have to hold on longer for precise positioning of the feet - at least in the beginning.

It's so interesting to see the climber in the gymnast. The different approach they have, the decision making, the style and personality of them is revealed when they climb. Can't wait to see magnus struggle now

I enjoy watching Magnus struggle outside his comfort zone, so gymnastics should be fun... But there's still a lot of overlap with climbing. What I really want to see is Magnus doing wrestling/jiu jitsu with someone who actually teaches him basic sweeps and submissions.

Maybe a question for a Q&A but I saw you say recently that you try to keep out all of the negatives or stress from filming and creating the videos and since then I have really noticed how positive everything around the videos is. I have been watching the channel since the early days and I hadn't really noticed that before. The way you approach the channel is so professional and it shows in the quality of the videos and editing, and you seem to have such a good overall idea of what you want to put out. Was the video editing and planning something that came naturally to you or did you have to work it at it a lot and perhaps read into it? Follow up: Have you ever edited a video and then decided that you did not like it and decided not to post it? Potential idea for a video, behind the scenes on a Midtbø shoot. Haha

Climbing is so specific and sometimes counterintuitive that even if you're strong as a top tier gymnast the struggle is gonna be real. The Finger strength, propioception and will that bouldering require are not easily acquired.

He should have started low say 5b and got their confidence up first. Bit disappointed in Magnus, like he's getting cudos before sucking at gymnastic vlog. Thought he was better than that, must be human after all and insecure like us mortals.
