PES 5 AND 6 on psp literally changed my life. They were borrowed to me and when my dad gave them back to his work colleague I was distraught. But now I play old pes on the ps2 emulators and the patches on my laptop. My Football game passion started with these games when I was 5 years old.

I would imagine the lack of stadiums may come down to the PSP's Disc the UMD. But having said that, older PES titles that came on PS2 and PS1 had multiple stadiums on CD-ROM which was half the Capacity of a UMD.

Got me through a lot of boring times in China 🤣 Like the PS2, the PSP PES's go up to 2014, I believe You could link the PSP to the PS2 version to change team names etc. If i remember, i think logos could be added too (either this or from PES6), but you couldn't change kit templates. Really is a tragedy that PES didnt release on the Vita. We got 4 Fifa games (12-15), so would've been nice to have a PES 2013 on the Vita

I found the defensive AI to be really wonky on PSP but they're still great - 2008 the pick for me.

The early PSP PESes only had one or two stadiums, but the later ones got a full lineup - from 2011 onwards if I remember correctly.

Fifa on PSP looked terrible compared to PES. If I remember, it seemed to play OK though...
