Oh my goodness, that’s so early! I hope he survived and managed to live a healthy life ❤ The unfortunate truth is that many extremely premature babies do not survive outside mum. Babies in utero need the mother in order to survive. That is why it needs to be the mother’s choice on whether to carry to term. This poor woman who thinks she’s trying to “save babies” just doesn’t realise or cannot comprehend that reality.

We made lots of friends while we were in the Nicu with our baby and were SHOCKED at how many babies were born Even earlier than he was and they survived! I think Kristan has a very good understanding when she talks. She’s very well educated and always comes with facts.

Remember, the point of being pro-life isn't about protecting life. They don't seem to care about foster kids, orphans, babies born in poor countries or with defects, or children of poor/homeless parents. Liberals are statistically way more likely to adopt and foster than conservatives. Conservatives don't even want to acknowledge children who might be LGBTQ, so why do they claim to support life universally only BEFORE the baby is born? Then there's all the "hush-hush" abortions that these pro-life people will have when THEIR wife or girlfriend or mistress gets pregnant. Funny how their principles disappeared at such a time of need! No, the point of being pro-life is to be anti-sex. They HATE women who are sexually active because sex = social skills = something most conservatives never have. The lady on the podium is forgetting that up to the 6th month a baby depends on the mother for its survival. Which means that if something goes wrong in the pregnancy, DENYING ABORTION will end up with LETTING the MOTHER DIE. Remember, the point of being pro-life isn't about protecting life. They don't seem to care about foster kids, orphans, babies born in poor countries or with defects, or children of poor/homeless parents. Liberals are statistically way more likely to adopt and foster than conservatives. Conservatives don't even want to acknowledge children who might be LGBTQ, so why do they claim to support life universally only BEFORE the baby is born? Then there's all the "hush-hush" abortions that these pro-life people will have when THEIR wife or girlfriend or mistress gets pregnant. Funny how their principles disappeared at such a time of need! No, the point of being pro-life is to be anti-sex. They HATE women who are sexually active because sex = social skills = something most conservatives never have. So they try to remove abortion and birth control to "punish" young women for doing what they want.

Probably what you meant to say instead of logic was _reason,_ _argument,_ or _narrative._ In the case of the red head in this video, I'd say she failed on logic and made a poor argument for the pro choice position. Just my two cents ... We don't really debate the legality of the issue. We debate the morality of it. This debate in the video is specific to whether or not the pro-choice crowd is willing to to end life or not. They want to argue that the aborted fetus wasn't a living being therefore there was no conflict with personal morality. So they do the dance of trying to argue that the fetus isn't alive. But in order to prove that argument you have to argue when the fetus is considering a life form. Half the problem that both sides have with this issue is understanding the difference between an embryo and a fetus. I'd argue that when a developing child reaches fetus level it has developed enough to be consider a baby. You want to argue when life starts I'd say you need to take the argument to when the development of the baby is still in the pre-embryo stages. Because unless the fertilized egg implants itself onto the uterus, it will not develop into the higher stages. The problem is nobody in the pro-choice community wants to restrict the "abortion" to that small of a window. That basically gives a woman a month to decide. Hell, an active woman might not even know she is pregnant for the first few months if her menstrual cycle is not regular. By the time she is even aware that she is pregnant the embryo may have even developed a heart beat which I think occurs around week six or seven. And that is why we still debate this decades later. Pro-choice doesn't want to address termination of a developing child with a heart beat and instead refer to it like this protestor did as a clump of cells. I'll be honest, I don't think this particular protestor has enough understanding of her own female biology to have an open debate on the subject. And she is arguing from a position of emotion and not logic or science. So when pushed with a logical response she has no idea how to reply.

Instead, they try to use it as a buzzword that dehumanizes the child so they feel less guilty about murdering it. Then you have those women who want to come up and argue minority cases for the majority or use extremely outlandish hypotheticals as if they are commonplace. We shouldn't murder our own children, regardless of the situation. Period.

If the student really was pro choice enough to get up there to speak, she should've been more prepared to have come back answers to the speaker. @@Clauderoberts29 Look up my previous post about Roe V. Wade. The Supreme Court says 24 to 26 weeks like viable outside of the womb. That's the law until it's overturned. If you don't believe that, then that's on you. I believe a woman has a right to make a choice under that law. That choice is what gets all the religious types all roiled up because to them there is no choice.

At the end, when she couldn’t answer, Kristin‘s question, she deflect by asking another question. It was like, “uhhhhhhh” *panics* “look over there!!!!”

Sure, clam in tone, but committed a logical fallacy straight up. The issue isn't "is it living", after all plants are living things, it's that this is still an extension of a woman's body and within her rights to decide to go forward or not. And it is not "living" enough that it's going to suffer a loss anymore than killing a plant will cost it loss. She committed a strawman fallacy, calm or not. The girl simply wasn't schooled enough to know how to throw it back in her face.

FYI im personally pro abortion, especially late abortion because its a great source for human stem cells and embryos for experiments on cell tissues.
