Tell me why my cats are cheaper to maintain that something as stupid as a pleco? Filters. Food. Water pH... Fish are literally the dumbest "pet" of all time.

Can't pet them. Can't cuddle them. They just live there in a state of stasis like a prison cell. Hey... Spend a week in your bathroom and you can't flush the toilet.

there's something very funny about someone taking a tour of a conservation aquarium and every once in a while during the tour just being like 'damn, i'd love to eat that'

That's the theme of the place and it's awesome
Love how the curator and the handlers wasn't ready for your questions. Appreciate your knowledge as well as your healthy curiosity.
I always love the content Forrest goes over but his enthusiasm for the subjects is just contagious. As a kid marine biology was my dream job, but life went different ways. But being able to see Forrest live the dream I was never able to achieve will do just fine. Keep being awesome Forrest, you are this generations Steve Irwin and we can’t thank you enough ❤

As a Disabled Person Who Can't Travel. I'm Sooo Happy to Be Able to See Places Like This Thru Your Videos... Thank You Soooo Very Much.
Forrest acting like a kid in a candy shop just running around exclaiming how awesome everything is. That's a testament to how cool this place is
Josh was my neighbor for a brief bit, he’s really knowledgeable and passionate about the animals. Super guy!!
I’ve been here and that first aquarium is mesmerizing to stand by. One of those “humans would never experience” things it’s crazy
Mike is awesome you can see the joy in his eyes just looking at the animals. I get that same look talking to a good friend, it’s amazing to see someone this passionate about their work. He sees these animals everyday and still has that spark in his eyes.
I really like that Forest doesn’t pretend to be one of those people who pretend to know everything and he’s willing to learn from anyone about anything
Respect to those Venezuelan farmers, thats humanity at its finest. Saved millions of years of evolutionary development
Wonders of Wildlife was the first aquarium I ever went to as a child. It was back before the renovation and I was awestruck by everything. I can't imagine what they all have now.
Those giant isopods remind me of the aliens from Independence Day.

The craziest isopods are the parasitic ones that attach themselves to fishes tongues, eat the tongue, then just replace the tongue and grow into its place by clamping on the stump….wild af
so wholesome to hear two dudes just nerdint out over some sealife. i needed this shit today
I'm so jealous of Forest, getting to spend time with Mike!!
I think it’s beautiful that there’s little programs all over the world like the Venezuelan project to bring endangered species back to healthy numbers and we don’t know it’s always nice to hear good news 😊
What I find fascinating, aside from how in the world they got deep sea creatures, is that, as the tour guide pointed out, it's in the middle of the USA. I'd have for sure thought an aquarium like this would be in California, or maybe New York. Heck, maybe even Dubai. It's a super fancy aquarium, and I don't blame the guide one bit for his enthusiasm. That's definitely a dream job for many.
Shoutout to jess for being wonder women so Forrest can bring us this content!
The more I find out about Johnny Morris I love the man's passion for the earth. Bought one of his rods bc I loved the feel but had no clue who he was lol. Legend
My dad was a discus breeder. What a beautiful planted tank that is - I can see why it's your favorite.
Another awesome adventure! So diverse too, I love when these places commit to care and conservation. Thanks for sharing Forrest and Mike!
It is always refreshing to see people who absolutely love their job! Hats off to the people doing the work to help inform people about the species of the world!
Putting this on my list of family trips. The place looks amazing!
WOW. I love visiting aquariums in different parts of the country. This one is def going on my list. Thanks, Forrest!
Thank you so much for letting me know about this place it's less than six hours away I can't wait to visit my lady's never been to an aquarium this is gonna be a treat she's always wanted to go to one now I get to take her to the biggest
Your knowledge is absolutely refreshing brother and your passion definetly shows you had more info on the animals then the actual workers amazing vid thanks for the watch
Love Forrest. Need to make the 3 hr drive and see the beautiful aquarium
What an absolutely amazing aquarium facility that is. Thank you for sharing your experience. ❤
16:05 Forrest is an adult child. "Did you know what?!?! I swam with one of those! It tried to eat me!" Is something I definitely would hear a 4 year old say to me. Thw difference is i believe forrest! 😆 🤣 😂
I feel fortunate to have this 5 minutes from my house and to have a yearly pass. It was cool seeing you tour the aquarium.
- It is a shame that the camera man or women didn't show a lot of the stuff in depth. I would've loved to see more of the fish, shells, ect. But overall a good video ! ❤
Such a amazing tour guide. He really loves his animals

Shout out Forrest for bringing love to Springfield, it’s always great to see people traveling to my home town.
Forrest, Thanks for showing this, completely incredible, that giant Isopod is something else!
I’m so glad I found your Channel. My passion for wildlife is growing and you making me inspire by your videos
This is an incredible episode!!! I loved it. Thank you Forrest 👍
I only recently started following your channel. I love documentaries and your channel definitely holds my interest. Frankly i didn't expect you to do a video on aquariums. Yeah it's a public aquarium but still not expected. It sounds crazy but I kinda want to see someone do a video with aquarists. There are some really big names in the fish keeper hobby. Channels like Predatory fins and Stingray biology are big deals in the hobby. They have mostly freshwater but they do have some saltwater stuff including sharks. They're in NYC. Another channel, The King of DIY, is based in Nova Scotia. He has stingrays, Asian arrowana and many other fish. I don't see it happening but it would be interesting/cool to see a video put out on the fish keeping hobby in general and focus on some of the good points the hobby has had on some species. There's definitely been some negatives in the hobby. But lots of positives too.
I remember watching that place get built I’ve been there twice since it was built and loved it each time
Now, THAT is one gigantic rolly polly if, I've ever seen one! 😃
- CTFU the ending I was *NOT* expecting but highly enjoyed 😉 😂.
Thank you Forrest for your amazing work ❤. And let know tonthe "average" people how amazing All this créatures are soooo AWESOME !!! 🙏❤️🙏
Man I used to live in Ozark Missouri and I was there when the foundation cracked and they shut down. Seeing this makes me want to go back and see this since I haven't seen the aquarium since it shut down. Awesome content yet again keep it up my friend.
I’ve been here too! This place is my favorite. It’s so freaking amazing!!!
Really wish we had something like that here in Canada but I can see why we dont, not cheap or easy to run one of these facilities but something I think the public as a whole should be investing in. Not only does it help in our understanding and education of the wildlife but it more importantly helps raise awareness and conservation efforts.
10:20 What a casual and practiced technique
Amazing video! I love aquarium tours.
The Oronoko Croc was awesome. Would love to have that experience. They are very pretty crocs, unique and intelligent as hell. Super cool man!
Born and raised in Kansas City, I've never heard of this place. I'm so excited to make a trip down to Springfield!!!

This was awesome 👌 please do more of these Forrest
Wow deep sea gigantism. Learned alot! All the shells! Animals make music. Beyond beautiful. and now I want to be a lionfish bounty hunter hah. Phenomenal vid. So amped up
Woooooo-w What a place man!!! What a video❤️Awesome!!!
Love your content Forrest! Lots that reminds me of watching Steve Irwin when I was younger!
Everything is so well lit. Amazing.
I love that place! Glad you had a good time!

I find it funny that while Forrest is rotating the crocodile, the croc look's like hes about ready for a nap 12:49 lol.
I actually love movies and music because of nature, and I find it all to be beautiful art. Nature is my inspiration for my enjoyment towards making art as well, lol. I don't blame some people for loving nature a lot more than human entertainment, though. Sometimes, a fresh breath of outside in nature is what we need ❤
One of the few good things in Missouri. Bass pro starting in Springfield really helped this be made. Would love to meet you next time you’re in state!
i forgot about this place until this video ive always wanted to go. Looks like ill be making a trip there soon, i think my kids would love it.
What blows my mind is that you have an animal that chills at 5000 feet but also chilling in a surface aquarium. I know it must be limiting their growth, lifespan, or some kind of disadvantage. But still fascinating.
Rocky gets dragged out of the water and the first thing he has to hear is Forrest telling him "You smell weird!" 🤣 Poor guy
That is a Beautiful Museum/Aquarium.❤
Awesome amazing tour and can't see what's next
Forrest, please visit Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska if you haven't yet! It's a treat! Thanks for the video. You can tell how passionate these two are about these species.
Love the energi in this video!!
Forrest is a gift to the planet
This is amazing! Great content 🐟🐠🐡
This is a dream aquarium for me to see. This is definitely going on my bucket list.
Amazing video! More of these like that
Forrest, yes you should definitely “Watch that barb there”
It was nice, thank you for the video and it was very educative.
Crazy to see sean strickland grow a sick goattee and give aquarium tours in his free time
Definitely going here when I tour Rt 66 next year. This place looks incredible.
Awesome video keep em coming!
The fact that Forrest is still learning new things gives me hope I'll one day know what purpose mosquitoes serve haha
@JamieVauxnut1

Take 1 minute to think about it ... What eats mosquitoes? What eats those that eat mosquitoes? Then what eats them ? Vital part of the food chain and one of the only things slowing population growth ...
That first tank is so cool!!
This is a new must visit!!
Love the head start type program. They are trying something similar in Alaska with Wood Bison. It hasn't been going great but I wish them well.
Forrest was giving the tour 😂
Def the best aquarium I've been to!
15:29 Woahh 😮 The Jellyfish 🪼 were Awesome 😧
Everyones so geeked out i love it
This was greatness
You got me with the freaky isopod from the movie The Bay 😂
Great video Forest!
That's a really cool aquarium. I hope to visit there one day. I would specifically love to see that Orinoco Crocodile.
Its amazing just that one diorama of a fishing boat. Would feed 200 people for a year. Amazing how they choose to spend money. Good for you Forrest!
Wow 😮 that place looks amazing
Hometown love. I went there a couple times but i didnt know it was the largest aquarium. Cool
I live in Branson and was surprised to see that you were at Wonders. This is my first time viewing one of your videos! (I’ve also never been to Wonders) 🤣
I've been to this aquarium its an amazing all day experience
Those isopods are crazy. They'll pick a whale carcass or any carcass really completely clean . And they've been around for such a long time
