Jack runs into his childhood friend and war buddy, who is now a down-on-his-luck roller derby star. Since returning home from the war, nothing seems to be going right for Jack's friend, and he's in deep to the mob's loan sharks. Jack puts himself square in the middle of the mob and his long-time friend.

I was always curious about this TV show in the late 1980s, I could find only episode 1 & 2 VHS video, here in Tokyo. We had the LUCKY STRIKE ads with Michael Woods in the early 90s.
Michael Woods is a curious case. You only can find his profile on IMDB. He doesn't even have a wikipedia profile. I know you're a Josh Brolin fan, I only wanted to write that. Michael Woods was a handsome guy. I don't know why he didn't become famous.

Apparently he died in a Rhode Island Hospital in 2006. Woods claimed Kent Hospital was negligent in the death of his 49-year-old brother, who had a heart attack and died in its emergency room after going there with a sore throat and vomiting.
