Private Equity Modeling - Private Equity Explained Pt.1
Hey, what’s going on everyone
This is part 1 of my private equity explained series where I go over what a financial model looks like in private equity. I go through some of the basics like the most important metric used to evaluate returns, what a leveraged buyout is and start a simple cash flow model from scratch. Hope this video is helpful.

Just a quick bio about myself, I worked at a boutique investment bank as an analyst for about three years before joining a private equity firm as an associate. All the information is from my personal experience, different firms may use different evaluation techniques.

Amazing channel 👏
I love your videos, Sir! Your videos are very honest and clear. I think it’s because you actually work intelligently and enjoy what you are doing! I love to see more videos every week or two from you!
@Casual Business would love to hear how firms models adding value. Improve sales efficiency? Reduce headcount in a bloated department? Financial engineering? Vertically integrate by buying a supplier? Platform acquisition. Etc... I imagine for the best use of the firms time, you have a playbook of repeatable exercises you can do for each company that fits a target profile. To be more efficient in not having to learn how to add value to each distinct business. Or perhaps bringing in operating partners and sharing carry so they can implement their value add approaches. Would this be accurate or no? TLDR: would love a "value add techniques" video. Thanks for all the great content!
Tremendous brother

Why would anyone take financial advice from someone that is clearly broke...GET A BACKDROP AND SOME DECENT CLOTHES...no one should have to tell you this, you're trying to sell yourself and you're half assing it.
