I love the stuff Satch used to write. It feels like in the last two decades he hasn't really challenged himself much and his albums have been rock jams rather than having the more complex and unusual structures and sounds of his earlier stuff. Nevertheless, Stu Hamm is the best bassist he's ever played with and he always sounds his best with Stu.

Stu Hamm the best bassist, I'm totally ok. Question. Who wants to killed him in of all shows to Joe ?

Absolutely. Every album sounds the same anymore. I think he needs to quit recording for a while. Surfing, Flying, The Extremist, Time Machine, Joe Satriani (his blues album) , and Engines were incredible. Then it’s been hit or miss to the point that I’ll download maybe one time off an album whereas I used to want the entire album.

Superbe captation.

Philippe

J'adore Satriani (I love him). I love Satriani. But I can't understand the Stu Hamm's hate and so on about this... This is an obsession for the "fans", and it's dirty. I don't understand everything like that. Maybe it's usual for you. Fuck it for all. Stu Hamm is the best.
