Pritzker Forum on Global Cities: Deploying AI for Safer Communities

Examples from around the globe have demonstrated the risks of tools like facial recognition and predictive policing. But is there a way to leverage AI technology equitably, to pursue a goal of safety rather than security? In this session, we look at lessons learned from different AI deployment methods in New York City and Latin America. We also discuss one approach for leveraging AI to police the police.
