Grinded a very large part of the German tree with this bad boy and i feel like it actually shines the most in arcade battles due to the ability to spam torps super hard but its guns are great too

I have been seeing a lot your videos lately, because i have been playing mostly naval in the last time, i no longer find joy in the fast paced battles of the tanks or jets so everything i do lately is a mixture of what i see that work and what you do, so these kind of guides or recommendations for ships helps a lot, so thank you for all of your work, its immensely appreciated 😁

Engine Room is win spot of helena if you take many fire in this point the fire spreads very quickly inside and blows up the ship, don't look for the one shot, aim for the center of the ship

I've found success with first targeting the shell ready rooms below Helena's main guns and then shifting aim to knock out her boiler room. The one-two punch causes a lot of damage and causes them to quickly take on a lot of water. The problem though is that it doesn't kill Helena outright. So, after doing 99% of the work by carefully sniping those key parts of the ship, I get to routinely watch friendly US cruisers roll their faces on the keyboard with overwhelming shell spam to finish off the last few % points of the crew and steal my kill and the lion's share of the reward for sinking the Helena.

prinz eugen, hipper and graf spee are my top 3 favorite targets to shoot at with battleships, they might endure more hits than say pola but before things come to endurance they pop like baloons. cheap and easy rp.

When i was grinding the scharnhorst (no premium all natural lol) i stopped using Von der Tann cuz the br is just pain if she's your only "bb", and soon dropped the graf spee as first spawn since the reload is non competitive in the context of rp-generation in the current bot meta. What i had most success with was the Hipper which was obliterating everything with its 8x16s guns

Hi, I have been subscribed to your channel for years even though I no longer play War Thunder. I hadn't received a notification in my feed on a single video of yours in over a year, even though I moved to Hannover and thought it was funny that the only German youtuber I watched was no longer recommended even when I moved to Germany. I thought you had stopped uploading, then one day I got angry at data collection in general and by google in particular, and cut off youtube from remembering my watch history. The recommendations were peculiar at first until I noticed on the left of the page the subscribed tab. Low and behold I "rediscovered," not only your channel but nearly a dozen others that had disappeared from my youtube experience. All that is to say that I do not think this is something that you are doing personally, and I am happy to be back and watching your videos. I really enjoy your style and editing. One thing that I would recommend is informing your subscribers about this and to actually use the subscriptions tab instead of the standard home page. I'm confident to say that I believe it will make them happier and help your channel perform better.

Can’t say I have had any issues seeing your videos in my feed or my subscription status but then again I’m a very regular naval forces player and I watch a lot of ship reviews from you, gunship, rowans guide and flipped stug although most of not all of his are out of date now, naval is my go to game mode followed by air then ground, I’m waiting for the Su-25/A-10 spam to die down abit before I go back to air though

I got the Eugen a while back and have either never used it, or only played a few games in it. I haven't really ground out the German Blue water tree yet as I have focused mainly on my US and Japanese trees, however I do plan to grind it out later on when the anniversary sale comes around and I can renew my premium account as it had expired a few weeks ago. Standard account RP gains are fairly terrible even with premium ships like the Helena

I find something satisfying about doing well with a "big gun, long reload" Super-Dreadnought in the midst of the "fast firing, small reload" meta at the moment. Have a great day!

Hello napal.. i have just started playing naval and i have to say im really enjoying it. I decieded to go for the german tree because i know they will add sometime in a longrun the bismarck and tirpitz but for now i have my eyes on the admiral graff spee.. so my question is.. is the admiral still good in 5.7 battles like it was when it was added and if you could revisit it maybe if you have the time for it? Thanks

Graf Spee has horrible Dispersion and the Shell damage was utterly reduced so you don't oneshot Helenas anymore. But now you can use the secondaries as a bridge ... Idk, it is nothing desireable. Von der Tann also got worden, including Power creep

i´ve bought this ship in the May sale, it´s very fun to play, the sheer amount of guns is so crazy. When an enemy plane comes in you can see the hell broke loose 😂 But ammoracks are pretty common on this ship, even full trough the front you can get an devestating ammo hit

Hi Napalm, I have a question about aiming in the navy. Do the shells penetrate ships below the waterline? Because I am trying to ammorack the enemies but I don't know where to aim exactly. When I watch your gameplays it seems like the shell can penetrate under waterline.

They can, however it's somewhat tricky to pull off depending on the range and angle at which the shells are falling on the target.

I recently started playing naval seriously with my Moffet and its a lot of fun.. much more enjoyable than the ground battles which are in pathethic state

i love the Prinz Eugen except for its profile. Compared to other cruisers it the hipper and such are SO BIG and they tend to get targeted first.

vs a helena, i find it best to use AP to damage the helena's vitals (barbettes, turrets, maybe get an ammo rack), and then if you want to you can switch to SAP to finish them off.

Tbh would only get this for the Baltic camo and cool custom battle fights

G'day Napalmratte, This Prinz Eugen is a good cruiser an I used it quite a bit pre 2.01 but imo it's survivability ain't the greatest these days so I rarely field it, But I wonder what's your thoughts on the other Prince Eugene in game which is one of the Condottieri series cruisers? Would you make a video on her or nah. Anywho one major reason I still absolutely hate the new aiming UI is due to the HE-DF shells becoming useless as since the cannons automatically range there's no chance to set the range anymore sadly resulting in all such shells being hella garbage. Anyway onto your question as a long time viewer and adversary of yours in several battles heh an while I don't always watch your content your videos are usually always in my feed an I get notifications of your uploads everyday and tbh I don't think you even need to update intro/outros and thumbnails as the art for them is pretty good compared to some other WT CC's. E, BTW What's more harder to sink? A Svetlana class cruiser Kraznyi Krym or the Brooklyn class cruiser USS Hellena as both are unreasonably tanky AF.

Honestly happy you made a other Prinz Eugen video since your last one was 2 years ago. I'm thinking about buying it when the anniversary comes

I didn't get the ostfrizland or ccvl videos pop up for me. I think you have good thumbnails. They are simple and you can easily figure out the content of the video solely with the image.

Friend, I want to buy Prince Eugen, but I have seen that they have raised it to 6.0. I don't know if it is still worth buying. Could you please advise me? Are you one of the few who plays naval continuously?

I plan to buy this but do you think germany navak tech tree will got many attention? It seems US that has many attetion and got tons of ships than other naval tech tree.

Personally, I always watch your reviews/impressions of vehicles, but not many of your other videos. I'm not sure what your numbers look like, but if a certain type of videos (like reviews) generally gets more views than others you might want to focus on that more. Re-reviewing old vehicles would probably be almost as popular as the brand new ones because the game changes so much. The most popular WT youtubers just do gameplay videos, so if you put out that kind of content you're competing with them. Reviewing vehicles is probably for a smaller audience, but you'd have less competition. I also imagine that people interested in review videos would watch all of your reviews, where as a gameplay video views would probably be a lot more dependant on the algorithm. For example, if a Phly, Odd, or Justin gameplay video shows up in my feed when I'm looking for something to watch, I might click it. In comparison, I often go to Sako's channel to see if he has posted any new reviews. When I see one of your reviews recommended, I always watch or save them and any previous reviews I've missed

When you ask, why use 8 inch guns if there is so little difference to 6 inch guns. That is the very reason why the Royal Navy chose to focus on light cruisers such as the Town-class, instead of building more heavy cruisers. 12 x 6 inch guns was the better choice over 8 x 8 inch guns.

I considered but came to the conclusion that sadly I so Not have the time to do it properly on Twitch. If there IS interest, I can do random Discord streams

I dont know but Ive seen the APHE to do much more damage than sap. more fires, more crew damage, and the sap doesnt seem to do much for me.

yeah the damage dealing systems have changed quite a bit since the last patch. Big issue for YTers. One is never save from Gaijins changes

Well just do gameplay on each ship plane or what ever just gameplay with a little flare that will do

how does tt variant Admiral Hipper compare to prinz? is it like the Brooklyn compares to Helena

I have not paid a single cent to gaijin as your points on war thunder being designed to addict are very true and ultimately justify the bot usage. The US battleships are nerfed and the tech trees are pretty much designed to force you to buy premium acct/vehicles. thank you though the game is still fun af

naval is weird now- Fires are way more deadly that usual literally chips away your crew and this: Was in my Scharnhorst 91% crew- got hit by one shell that didnt do damage and went down to 88%. . . shot an Alaska at 91% crew and one salvo took 50% of his- dunno if its just me but its weird-

Admiral Hipper has a smaller crew, fewer AA guns, and fewer torps.

why is Prinz eugen the only premium pack and the other nations has ge premiums only?

Gaijin has put all the premium cruises as packs at one time or another. Eventually, they remove the pack and add the ship in game where you can purchase them with GE.

Not a sub but i get your videos in my feed. Just the algorithm decides i am interested in warthunder naval it shows your videos

tbh i really dont think that zelezniakow is far worse than Helena, ofc russian ship have significantly longer reload speed, but it have much better shells, same anti air defence, comparable secondaries. I would say that Helena is better in fighting vs Drednoughts cause you have this broken HE spam, but vs other crusiers zelezniakov is on the same level cause he can ammorack them eaisly with this powerfull SAP

Hm I'm not sure if there is anything you can do better with your YT channel, I do like your content, but it is tied to WT and there is only so much WT stuff that I want to watch. + Whether or not I want to watch your videos also very much depends on if I am interested in the Vehicle that you review. However I'm not certain if branching out to other games would make your videos more appealing to me.

Eugen's survivability is ridiculously low, shit armor that disappears after some shots, easy to ignite, big juicy ammo storage, I don't how to say about this, 18000t of paper I guess.
