    so if you have canva pro, you can also use pro elements and photos in the designs and sell them?

    Super video! I see that you selected to create the projects only for free elements. Pro elements cannot be used to sell on Etsy even if I mix them with other elements to create my own graphic?

    Wow nice videos. I like the way you explained near the end about locking your design when you allow customers to download. Where do you sell your poster links?

    Yeah Josh, where do you sell your stuff? And that partial lock, it's a game changer when you are creating templates for others to use.

    I don’t like how it’s always selecting elements on top of each other since Canva doesn’t offer layers. Locking the elements is a hit and miss when selecting the other elements behind it.

    Hey Marky, are you on a desktop? Or a laptop. If you hold down the Command (Mac) or Control (PC) button and click an element it will let you select the object behind. Annisha explains it really well here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZmZpwa2kl7i2aaQ.html

    hi, i am still confused though, I sell T shirts , and I wonder for example if I wish to design a T shirt on Canva with the words: (The Cook ) on it , and i get from your library of elements a cook hat , changed its colours and used your fonts to write: The cook, is this allowed or not. I mean is it ok to use elements from your library like graphics of flowers, hats. hearts , backgrouds or textures free or pro and put the is a design?

    In what format should the printable wall art be selling on etsy? pdf, jpg, or png?

  • @annavannoni

    It depends on what you want to do.

  • @canva

    @canva

    Hi there Anita,@@annavannoni is right - it depends. If you want them to print it out you should use PDF Print - that's the best for printing but it will give you a much larger file. If it's for digital only then PNG or JPG is perfect.

    Can you go a bit more in depth on licensing? I’ve read the T&C’s and watched the video you recommended but the legal jargon can be difficult to understand. I’m wanting to create designs for Etsy as this video suggests but don’t fully understand the legalities surrounding digital download products. If I purchase graphics w/ licensing from another company and use them on canva with the “free canva” what other licensing do I need from Canva in order to sell digital download art? Thanks

    Hey there Kennedy, amazing - you have certainly done your research. From what you have described it sounds like you have done everything right and don't need any additional licensing. But we understand it's confusing so it might be better to reach out to the support team so they can advise you on your specific project. You can get to them here: www.canva.com/help/contact-us - I hope that helps. Would love to see what you are creating.

    When I select “view only” it only allows it on the computer to be saved as .html and you cannot save it if on your phone. How can my customer download my printable when I don’t want them to edit it?

  • @canva

    @canva

    Жыл бұрын

    Excellent question Raigey. There are two ways to do 'view-only'. One is by clicking on the *_'view-only link'_* button under the copy link button in the share menu. This will only allow HTML to be downloaded (as you correctly said). Good if you need someone to view something quickly but not download or edit in any way. They can leave reactions but that's it. The other way is to add their email ( _only people added can access_ ) and choose 'can view' - they will then be able to view and download the file. You could also make it open to everyone ( _anyone with the link_ ) but then you wouldn't be able to stop your customer from sharing it with other people. Hope that makes sense. Let me know if you have further questions.

    @@canva okay so if I made my printable with pro graphic elements and gave my customer a link, would the pro elements show up with a watermark? Most customers for printables do not have a Canva account to download the link with, and don’t want to sign up, therefor are requesting refunds. Can Canva raise there subscription cost so creators can just use pro images in there designs and share the .pdf’s and .jpeg’s themselves?

  • @canva

    @canva

    Жыл бұрын

    Hey there, if you send them a link with view only enabled they won't need to sign in and the Pro elements you've used (providing you have a Pro account) will not contain watermarks for the viewer. Try it yourself: open the link in an incognito window. Sounds like you might have a more specific question though so I'd suggest contacting the Support Team (www.canva.com/help/get-in-touch/contact-support/) - they'll be able to look at your case specifically and you can even upload an example so they can see the issue you're having. I hope that helps you and your customers.
