I'm using 100% cotton tees. You can also use 50-50 tees (cotton/polyester). The same would apply with sweatshirts, hoodies, etc... You can also print onto canvas bags as well.

Thank you for this video, I am just starting, have a heat press in a cart waiting for me to just hit order. You did inspire me by letting me know it is ok to send out specialized items and just charge up a little. I have been looking at other sites to see what they charge for t"s. tanks, etc. I was at a point where I felt like I was getting in over my head. So far I have only ordered vinyl. The HTV is a little expensive but I feel like I will make it up in sales. But in the beginning I will be using my husband, children, and grandchildren, for guinea pigs until I really figure out what I am doing. I was paralyzed in a car accident several years ago and I went from being an independent woman to depending on my husband for everything. I feel like it is time for me to become a productive person in society again. You gave me the little kick in the pant's I needed. Now I just need to figure out how much I need to get my inventory started. I want to be professional but on a disability budget. So I'm gonna figure it out. When I get going I will make sure you see some of my work and you can know God used you to help me get back the excitement I started with and allowed people to discourage me. God Bless You. Marie

We recommend screen printed transfers for best lasting quality. If you wish to print your own designs; we recommend the Epson WF-7010 printer. You'll use software like photoshop or any abode programs to pull the files up and print like you normally would print.

It will depend if you plan on sending the design off to be screen printed. Some transfer companies require certain digial file formats. If you plan to send the file off to be printed from transfer companies (screen printed plastisol transfers) contact the company prior to having the design created.

The heat press machine can range from any where $300 and a few thousand of dollars. Just depends on the brand and the type of machine you purchase. We recommend at least the 16x20 machine to avoid any issues printing on larger items. You may try looking on Amazon, Craigslist, and Ebay. Please be sure to read the reviews on Amazon before purchasing a heat press machine.

Screen printed transfers can stay on shirts up to 3-4 years or more. There will be some signs of wear but the shirt will hold up and last longer than designs printed from a printer.

We have a source list available for purchase. The source list includes vendors that sell wholesale screen printed transfers and blank shirts. They are both good, but both come at a preference of what you are trying to achieve. However, the heat press method is something we've always preferred and something we've stuck with through out the years. I guess you'll just have to ask yourself what is it you exactly prefer and which method will be best for you in quality and time wise.

Are you talking about the square left behind from the heatpress machine? If that's what you're talking about, it'll go away as the shirt cools off. Lots of pressure will leave an imprint on the garment from the pressure -- but that goes away.
