What's this? Prince did a song which is, while still a booming song, is not fast paced and actually a ballad? Oh hell yes! All my yes!

based on the season finale I can picture twilight, post-mane 6 deaths, going back to starswirl's original time travel spell, using an aging spell to disguise as her younger self, and hanging out with her friends while her past self isn't around, struggling to contain her feelings. Ideally this would be self-fulfilling just like the episode where she first uses it, so it had always happened, but nobody ever noticed.

This song makes me fucking cry every time.. The part when the mane 6 come back for a moment, you can physically *feel* the power with it. As a guitar player.. The feeling that moment gives is indescribable. Conveying power like that is really rare.

I can only imagine her and Discord becoming even closer when that time comes.

I deal with depression and deal with autism, I have had even thoughts of suicide here and there, even today I fight it all off, and this song makes me feel like I can keep going despite these thoughts flooding my brain and adding up my losses over my gains, I could not help but to sing and crack a smile to this song, it feels inspiring to keep going..Somehow.

I'm actually so glad I saw this, I've felt the same way, but everyone kept telling me that since I was autistic I was supposed to be unquestionably happy, and every time I tried to explain they just said I didn't know what what I was talking about. You just helped me stem the flow of thoughts I'm having, thank you. (the song is also awesome by the way)

I love feeling *power* in songs.. from Wage War for a more strength power to AC/DC for a more badass power. But this.. the guitar play in it feels incredibly powerful. The mixing in it was done perfectly. I remember the first few times I listened to this song I got goosebumps up the back of my neck.. PW never disappoints. Ever.

Even the date "Remembrance" Sep 27, 2015 "Better Tomorrow" July 27 2018 2 Years 10 Months Edit: Wait, I only seen this song now, aka in 2 years 10 months (Minus 4 days) Both are amazing SFM's (even if better tomorrow one is more song than sfm)

Why am I rewatching this yet again? All I do is tear up. This is such a bittersweet song and it definitely earns its album title, being somehow both a lighter and yet darker Reimagining of Remembrance. Darker because it seems Twilight has no one but lighter because she is refusing to give into her depression.

Really nice song, much-more-handsome-clone! Loving your screams uwu. Hope you and all the family are having a great time at Bronycon and yeah, you know, i'm sending hugs to all of you n.n

It just feels like after watching this... I finally know what it's like to have such great friend's, and when you lose them, you'll lose you're mind to try and get them back again...

I love this song. I come back to this when I feel like just giving up. It reminds me to take a step back. And that maybe I'm reaching out to not light but darkness. Candles in the rain... Burning bright til we're snuffed out. Soumds like we're just persevering through all the pain that life gives in order to reach for the reward at the end of a long dark tunnel. One day, we will grab that light.

Remembrance much? Although I think I like this version more (unless this is like a prequel) 😃 I needed more emotional and metalcore stuff. This is a really epic collab. The people who did the SFM made it look sad and real, and as always Shadow did an incredible job voicing Twiggles. (I almost shed a tear 😅)

Forestrain did this at Ciderfest and even though a technical issue screwed up the first half it was amazing when the group part came on and you could hear the whole room just start singing this.

This discussion starts under literally every song about Twi's ascension so here we go again, I guess. From my understanding it's not a curse at all. It's not like being mortal spares you from the pain of loosing someone dear. Everyone eventually gets over it and moves on. The difference is that as an immortal being one can not only spend as much time as they want mourning the loss but also they get to form new bonds forever. And there isn't such a thing as "boring your immortal self with the world". There's just so many new things being created every day that it's not possible to "see it all".

Filip Tryhuk You do realise being immortal will mean you will never die right? Meaning you'll survive any extinction event such as the sun exploding in the next several million years. Not only that but considering all the mental illnesses one might get from seeing everyone die and knowing they can never die might be overwhelming. Sure it'll be fun for the first million years and more so if you have no real emotional connection but ever wondered what roaming a empty planet might feel like? Also it comes up because it's a interesting topic
