Knowing as I know the Hannoverians family dinamics, the 18th Century Diana Spencer dodged a massive bullet. She dodged it so hard that the bullet kept flying for 200 hundred years and hit someone else down her family.

Thank you for calling Kate by her full name Catherine and for signing Camilla with her correct surname Shand. Most people called her Parker Bowles even after her marriage to Charles, while that is the surname of her first husband whom she divorced a long time ago. Some people keep their former spouses surname when they divorce, so they still share a name with any children they have together, until the woman remarries and takes chooses to take her new husband's surname or keep her former current one. A woman is not required to revert to her maiden name, nor should she be referred to by it unless she reverts to it when the divorce is granted.

Just a hint on Welsh pronunciation. One f is pronounced like an English v, and two ffs like English f. Although most of us Welsh resent the imposition of the first Prince of Wales in medieval times, most of us nowadays are very supportive of the current Prince and Princess. I have a cherished memory dating from a month or two after they married, when William was working as a search and rescue pilot in Anglesey, Wales. I went to do a food shop in our local Tesco’s supermarket in Holyhead and was completely amazed to pass Catherine in one of the aisles doing her own shop. She was obviously trying to keep her life as ‘normal’ as possible, at least for a few more months.
As someone who has Welsh ancestry, this was fascinating.

The persistence of certain media outlets in calling her Kate Middleton is beyond disrespectful. It’s so nice hearing Queen Camilla and Princess Catherine properly. I think it shows disrespect when Catherine is referred to as Kate Middleton. They’ve been together how long? I wanted to tell you "great video" but also correct a misspoke piece of information...the Princess of Wales prior to Catherine was not Diana but, in fact, Camilla. Out of respect for Diana and also out of respect for public opinion on being known (in the public arena) as PoW she became most closely associated with Prince Charles's second highest-ranking subsidiary title which was 'Duke/Duchess of Cornwall' whilst in Scotland that next-highest title was 'Duke/Duchess of Rothesay'. This confusion comes from someone saying camilal would be princess consort instead of queen consort years ago to shut the public up who were upset she would be the queen consort one day, but the queen said no to that and declared camilla would be called the same thing as every other wife of a king in history, queen consort, simplified to just "Queen".

@@pedanticradiator1491 I read that on an old tabloid my godmother has...she had a huge crush on Andrew in the 80s and compiled anything wd him on the news 😇
Henry VIII made Mary Princess of Wales in 1525 and she was installed in her court at Ludlow Castle. There are conflicting opinions as to whether she was officially invested. Obviously, it would not have matter if she had been once Henry decided that she was a bastard and he demoted her to Lady Mary.

Wikipedia claims she was never invested, and since she only lived in Wales for around three years, I am one to think that she was never made Princess of Wales.

She wasn’t necessarily confirmed as such in any official document. But she was given the court.
All wonderfully beautiful with the exception of CowMilla, she Shamed the UK 🇬🇧 and broke the rules, she broke their hearts, the Princes Harry and William thanks to her pushing in on their dad they have no Mummy, you don’t Mess with Married men but she knew how Weak and Easy their dad was, she made sure that she got him to a place where he felt he could not/never live/be with out her and it worked. I’m wondering what/how the Commonwealth really feels about seeing those two Adulterers on the Throne…yes, I know Our Beloved Princess Diana was no angel but if it weren’t for those two, none of that would have happened.

There have been so many adulterer s on all thrones ( including British) that we do not need to worry.

Your use of that childish insult for Her Majesty The Queen tells me all I need to know. And she did not pursue Charles. It was he who pursued her. There are no adulterers on the throne. It was nearly 30 years ago, and they have been forgiven by the church.
0:43 Henry Fredrick Stuart, Charles Stuart, Charles Stuart and James Francis Edward were Scottish not English. George and Fredrick were German not English.

That's a rather full name. Although I agree that the term should be British monarchs, but Great Britain only emerged during Anne's rule and those before her are Kings of England (and Scotland during James I). Unless there is other way to refer the monarchs of England
Quelle était belle Diana ❤❤❤elle aurait fait une magnifique reine
Seems it's rather an unhappy title, in my opinion. The most recently late Lady Diana Spencer particularly unlucky. Catherine, however, seems to be breaking the curse.
