Anyway it does not matter. What matters is that she has a nice character. I ideally set out with her expectations of the type of man that I want.

Cinderella is not picky. Her standards are within a normal range. We're just expected to become accustomed to settling for less. It's good to see that she remains true to herself. Don't settle, it's not worth it.

Picky is a euphemism for a woman who values herself, has high self esteem and expects the best from a love interest as she is going to give her best. We as women should never accept just any old body just because he is a man. That is why we find ourselves too often in very bad even dangerous relationships.

I totally agree with you!! When i was looking for my man i had some importaint standards for my future man; no kids, kind, honest, hard working ..... And i found him after some months. He was actually a frequent customer in the shop i worked for at that time, and i thought he looked reeeaally good lookin and we started talking after a bit. And yes, he was single, no kids, and was working (two jobs actually. He wanted to save up to buy a house) We did end up as a couple after some few months. After a year toghether WE bought a house - one which we still live in :) Now, after almost 29 yrs we have two kids (24 and 13 yrs old) and are still very much in love after all these years. So yes...i do understand why these lovely women didnt just pick the first man walking by ;) But there's another importaint issue to finding your 'soulmate' . and that is not only the facts (job, manners, look, this'n that...) - it is the chemistry between you and your partner. If the chemistry and 'tingling' feeling isnt there - forget it. Move on..next! Lol ;)

Ok let me correct you ;Royals are not celebrities but they may be famous. May be they chose the wrong one for Uganda because Nvanungi is a celebrity princess but in real life , she is a princess without privileges. In fact , she is more of a celebrity. The two things are different although they share some thing in common. They should have chosen another Princess .

He must really be good. Because in our culture they kinda wonder if you are a man if you are light. I am sure the princess feels the same. As you can see with the way she's too picky.. there's no way she can get a mate there in that time. We are quite a picky lot.

Is she really your princess? I read a letter written by a princess of Buganda yesterday calling her an imposter. She said she was a singer in the early 2000's. I will try to find the link, she was calling herself Princess Sheila.

Nah the prince' from India( gay prince) South Africa and Sri lanka was cool . they supported each other and was humble at least to each other but duty always trumps happiness in their cases

I liked them all. Prince Africa Zulu had lived a very isolated life, with no friends, no real context...but in just three weeks he had made such strides in his personal growth, internally mostly where it will matter long-term. His decision about his wife was so wise, his leavetaking from the other princes & acceptance of R's homosexuality, all refreshing. Of course all of them were spoiled; they'd been waited on hand & foot thus far in their lives. But they kind of got over that. Their titles were simultaneously valuable to them and a source of deep sorrow. It is a vast amount of work to be head of state (think presidency) and if you're stuck with it as a lifetime job, it can be lonely and definitely lacking in fun. I think I'll like both but honestly, I'm a bit skeptical about the lasting value of any marriage based on fewer than 21 days' dating!

Great! I think the producers of the show should also take into account the culture, upbringing and age of the princesses. I felt that Cinderella and Aliya were uncomfortable in some public situations; they're older, so they are unlikely to enjoy the same things as the younger Xenia. I doubt that someone of their social standing can realistically meet a life partner at a nightclub, especially a LGBT place. How about allowing the girls to meet men from more varied backgrounds and giving them better jobs so they can meet men from a broader social spectrum?

I was thinking the same. This us reakly weird. I mean most of the people i met, fidnt meet their partners partying around in different clubs, but through work, activities like sport, music, common frirnds, shared interests etc. Als these partiesare very european- many africans i met are not quite impressed by theseway of hsving fun, drinking and electronic music....

I enjoyed her spunk and easygoing nature. She may have been a bit choosy about selecting a mate, but to fair it’s a mate for life so a valid reason to be choosy. All the princesses were quite sweet and unique!

A few years ago she was living in a shared rented flat in Berlin. She may be part of some kind of minor nobility, but she had a normal childhood. 100%playing it up for the cameras.

These princesses are gonna get us glued to this show much more than prior prince boys did...

The Indian Princess has such a sweet disposition...she is calm natured and has a beautiul smile ...but her culture brought her up to be so shy....I pray that this wont hinder her search. ♥

Cinderella looked totally worried the whole time when the stripper walked in. She looked like she wanted to go tank him for being too touchy. I'm not gonna lie,I felt that way.

That should probably be how we all should look and feel. When did someone who isn't who your married to dancing and touching as they took off their cloths become normal? It's really not, that was a stranger. Her face made me see just how shocked we all should be. I know we see it as funny but it's desensitizing things we should stay sensitive to.

I like the fact she kneels slightly when she receives a handshake. Very well trained

So glad we're getting some ladies, too! So lovely, for ex., how Gabby held Aaliya as she was overwhelmed by the bar scene & broke down crying. Her response showed true royal class...and Aaliya's subsequent bounceback showed that she was no pushover. Gogogo with more thumbs-up, not sure why anyone would dislike this.

She is very disciplined too As her #BugandaKingdom has the most disciplined people in Uganda.

They never argued it was refreshing 😌

The princesses are beautiful delightfully fun loving women full of passion and adventure. @@tuka24a Of course they chose to really exploit the fish out of water trope. The princess aspect was enough but, Cinderella and Ari are from totally different continents where the predominant culture and people are very different, and in such a monolithic town, it was harder for them, as I expected. The show is terribly predictable but so interesting at the same time. The saxon princess was flirty from the start, the culture is very similar to her own. I myself or any of the women I know approach men. A lot of American women do, just not most of the women in my area and age group as we are mostly from immigrant families across the world. I noticed she barely has a German accent when she speaks. This is where my ignorance of this foreign culture culture, gets me in trouble. I was a bit confused by this. Anglo Saxons are Brits, but I heard them say she was German. I suppose they are speaking of an a very old Saxony, but they have become analogous in modern times. Someone kindly correct me, if I am wrong please. sheI know Germans who have lived here in NYC for decades and yet a very pronounced accent. I don't think most Germans are bilingual, much like Americans, that speaks to her background that she speaks English so well.
