I remember seeing photos of her in English magazines imported here in the US when I was a teen and wanting to go find her in London . I loved her look and still do now that we are both in our 50s . Would love to meet her one day .

It's really an absolute shame that these icons have faded into obscurity. Especially since we've lost Steve Strange,Pete Burns AND Bowie in the same year.

Bowie is not dead. True story. I'm not a besotted Bowie fan who refuses to believe that he died. I couldn't give a toss about the bloke, but the facts remain, Bowie is not dead.

As in the comment below by Richie Walsh, it is not Princess Julia in the photograph with David Bowie - it's Toni Basil.

Not only is that not Princess Julia with Bowie but its not Steve Strange with her either, its Marilyn and Boy George.
