Princess Diana's Favorite Beauty Products that you can still buy today

Ойын-сауық

Hello lovelies, today I will be talking about Princess Diana and her favorite beauty products that you can still buy today. Diana, Princess of Wales, was born on 1 July 1961 - 31 August 1997) was a member of the British royal family. She was the first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales, and the mother of Prince William and Prince Harry. Diana's activism and glamour made her an international icon and earned her enduring popularity as well as unprecedented public scrutiny, exacerbated by her tumultuous private life.
Perfume:
Princess Diana wore the perfumes Bluebell by Penhaligon and Quelques Fleurs.
Bluebell by Penhaligon:
rstyle.me/+0HwomiwzkAhrNGhD7h...
Bluebell by Penhaligon's is a Floral Green fragrance for women. Bluebell was launched in 1978. The nose behind this fragrance is Michael Pickthall. Top note is citruses; middle notes are hyacinth, rose, jasmine, cyclamen, and lily-of-the-valley; base notes are galbanum, cloves and cinnamon.
Quelques Fleurs:
rstyle.me/+xlPBcL951vQTlMsFw5...
With flower-brimming palettes and smelling blotters in one hand, and laboratory glassware in the other, the French perfumer, Robert Bienaimé, unveiled his Quelques Fleurs world premiere in 1912 as a groundbreaking, multi-floral masterpiece. Since then, his perfectly-balanced, refined bouquet has become modern perfumery’s peerless criterion for pure, meticulously-crafted, multi-floral accords. Prior to his bold invention, floral fragrances had been mainly singular flowers or florals combined with various nuances of herbs and spices.
HEADNOTES: Bergamot, Galbanum, Tarragon, Lemon.
HEART NOTES: Jasmine, Tuberose, Lily of the Valley, Violet, Rose, Ylang Ylang, Carnation, Broom Flower, Orange Blossom, Clove.
BASE NOTES: Oakmoss, Sandalwood, Civet, Cedarwood, Musk, Orris, Tonka Bean
Face cream:

Lush says that back in the day, co-founder Mark Constantine met with the Princess of Wales to learn about her skincare routine. Out of that meeting (and a bit of royal expertise!), the formula for Lush Gorgeous Moisturizer emerged. And it’s still a fan favorite today-despite its lofty price tag. Don’t get us wrong, though; this skincare splurge is worth every buck.
Skincare doesn’t get any better than Gorgeous. This light and gentle moisturizer is perfect for every skin type thanks to a blend of soothing ingredients like orange blossom honey, extra virgin olive, and wheat germ oils to leave your skin feeling soft and matte. Made fresh in small batches, it also contains fresh pineapple, lemon, and orange juices to help cleanse while it moisturizes. Its legion of fans will surely be the first to tell you how much their skin has improved since they started using Gorgeous...care to join them?
Diana loved to use Guerlain moisturizer. She also preferred to use body lotions from Nivea as well as Vaseline.
Makeup:
rstyle.me/+Hyf_V4ASDOYoP1RJKs...
rstyle.me/+sJMue-OWo9-pu9merv...
Diana loved to wear Guerlain on her cheeks and would use Guerlain blush and bronzer.

As a former LUSH employee, Princess Diana actually never used this product "Gorgeous". The founder of Lush wanted to reformulate her current facial lotion without mineral oil as she had mentioned issues of breaking out. She, unfortunately, passed away before she was able to use it. If you ever have any questions about Lush products or history, please reach out! I'd love to help

Ihatedayslikethis1 Apparently, Lady Di never left home without wearing perfume, ever - I googled what she wore and got this info “The perfume in question is Hermès 24 Faubourg ($140, Nordstrom), which, according to Hermès’s in-house perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena is “perfume in the absolute. An explosion of white flowers, enveloping warmth, captivating sensuality.” These are secrets about Princess Diana no one knew about until after her death.” Also, check CREED perfumer - they have many signature scents inspired by celebrities and created especially for them like Grace Kelly (Fleurisimo) and Natalie Wood (Jasmal), etc., they may have one for Lady Di too. They are very expensive perfumes but exquisite. Princess-Diana's-Favorite-Perfume-is-STILL-Available-And-You-Can-Totally-Afford-It-via-notdstrom.com VIA NORDSTROM.COMIt wasn’t the only scent Princess Di wore. On her wedding day, the bride-to-be walked down the aisle of St. Paul’s Cathedral wearing Quelques Fleurs ($140, Nordstrom), a floral scent featuring a mix of tuberose, rose, and jasmine. The late-royal’s daughter-in-law Kate Middleton would follow in Diana’s floral footsteps. When she married Princess William, Kate Middleton wore Illuminum’s White Gardenia Petals, a $150 perfume. Next, read about these things you didn’t know about the British royal family.

Like Cher back in our day wearing the Cleopatra eye liner that started a trend and Dusty Springfield with the panda eye look, Diana really played up her big blue eyes with the blue eye liner. Diana used Clarins as well. I lived in Chelsea London and always stopped in Harrods Department Store. One day the cosmetics area was blocked off and we we told it was closed for a special event but to come back in an hour. My friends and I went to the cafe for coffee. When we came back to cosmetics I went straight to Clarins and looked at their new ruby jeweled brush which was retractable and a shimmering pearl compact case. The girl told me that Princess Diana just bought it, that’s was the special event. Maybe or maybe not. I still have the brush and it is the best investment I ever made. Still use it, and always think of her!

She had a very elegant, understated style. Just a whisper of makeup, fresh faced look. She allowed her clothes and jewellery from the Crown's collection to make her statements. I just wanted to point out that Terracotta Light was only released in 2018 if I'm not mistaken, so she may have used the original Guerlain Terracotta which was introduced in the mid 80s. Early 90s makeup was quite minimalist with the focus on natural glow, reflecting the pared down aesthetics of Donna Karan, Calvin Klein and Giorgio Armani. I myself used to wear the OG Body Shop bronzing pearls which was very subtle with a lovely shimmer. The new version comes nowhere close. This was also around the time that Guerlain Météorites was launched. Makeup was so simple then. It's was either high end or drugstore.

Her make up was very heavy at the start. There is a few unfortunate photos of het sweating and her make up running. Of course they got them deleted . Then in the mid 80s the Herald ran a full page report on her change in the cosmetic department. She switched to a tinted moisturiser which overnight changed cosmetic counters and brown shadow and pink lipgloss were replacing the neon colours worn by women . She went neutral way be4 the so called spiritual 1st half of the 90s.

It was quite sad when they removed her items from Dodi's Paris apartment. Diana, I understand had, only two or three items and was known to not be really that, into makeup, one item being the famous estee lauder blue eyeliner pencil she wore in her waterline. Diana wore Barbra Daly products who was also her makeup artist.

You don't go behind the Queen's back and have a book done or do an interview in which you are saying things like you don't think Charles can handle the responsibilities of being King. Diana was virtually without staff after the the Panorama interview. Her son William stop speaking to her briefly when he found out she was seeing James Hewitt, when the Morton book came out and after the interview with Martin Bashir.

I just love Princess Diana. I remember the night she passed. Such a sad sad thing. That is a shame Lush didn't use a glass jar. Glass is environmentally friendly. It is recyclable after all. It definitely would have been a more appealing look to it. I'd love to try this cream. I can't find one that doesn't beak my skin our irritate my skin. Some of them make my skin feel likes it's on fire. I love your videos. I'm an old movie junkie. Especially the silent movies and the ones from the 30's. My favorite year for movies was 1939. So many I love, that I can't name them all.

I am so glad u put the moisturizer by lush!! Honesty I was so skeptical when I bought it, and it is 90 dollars where I live. However it really does brighten, tone, and hydrate! I have oily combination skin and it doesn’t break me out or make more oil. It is one of the best moisturizers I’ve ever used! Definitely recommend 10 out of 10. I can see why it was made for royalty!
