I remember when Princess Diana got engaged, she was always fresh faced and looked amazing with minimal make up. She was really a lip gloss kind of girl and she had such a beautiful complexion. I loved her style and she influenced so many women of many generations.

Fresh faced? Of course, she was barely an adult.

I used to work as a makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics and when I received my first training I was told that MAC created a makeup line that was exclusive for princess Diana. When people noticed that this makeup line so demanded that was put on sale. Nowadays there are just a few products that remain permanent such as eyeliner, brow liner, lip liner, lipstick and eyeshadow. The name is "Taupe".

Talking about her in the present tense was absolutely lovely 😊

I love princess Diana she seemed so genuine and kind

I forgot how nice Clarins is! In the last five years, I’ve gotten distracted with all the newer brands, but it’s good to think about the older, more established brands too.

I love the way that your talk about Princess Diana’s as if she is still with us. That is very sweet. I remember once one of her lipsticks was mentioned, I think it was a Clinique one, and you couldn’t get it for love or money. Lovely video, thank you.

I watched her documentary on Netflix, so many things we didn’t know and how misunderstood she was 😔

She was also a fan of Hermès 24 Faubourg perfume later in life and wore it up until her death according to her butler. It’s a lovely, rich and clean scent with hyacinth and a note that somehow evokes sunlight streaming through a window.

Lady Di is so beautiful! I remember being at work and it coming on the TV that she had passed! 😭😭

I think this one is my favorite video of all you've done. Princess Di has always intrigued me. I do love Marilyn, but I was born in 1974, so Princess Di was in the news a lot more when I was growing up. I just adore her and always have. Her beauty is so fresh.

Thanks for this video, I really enjoyed the vintage article. I have so many fashion and beauty magazines I saved from the 90s and really enjoy reading the old articles. I loved Diana, when I was in elementary school our library had several books about her and her fashion and I loved it. I think I was born to be a princess.LOL

I agree about the Beautiful fragrance. I wore it years ago but I prefer more modern scents now. It was very floral compared to the strong perfumes back in the 80s. I do remember that.

I wore Beautiful back then, too. I liked it because it mixed well with the chemistry of my skin. It did get old after a while and I switched to Romance by Ralph Lauren.

I love her makeup pallete. She had a great makeup look. She looked so clean and almost natural 😍. Her 90s looks were chic and very fashion forward. Bless her. She was sexy chic royalty.

I love Beautiful! It’s my grandma’s favorite perfume, so I’m always reminded of her when I smell it. Now I’m going to think about Diana too! ☺️

I wouldn't really that that...they sell Clarins in drug stores, very affordable compared to really high-end skin care or brands such as La Prairie etc. For someone who is royalty it's certainly a brand "of the people"
