I’ve always had great respect for Princess Anne. She works so hard and always has done. I’m sure she never understood Diana’s emotional troubles but no one is perfect and she was, compared to Diana, made of tougher stuff. We’re all entitled to be who we are and if anyone dislikes us because of that, it’s unfortunate but people have their own opinions and views largely created by their own upbringing and experiences. I very much doubt that Princess Anne “hated” Diana; she just didn’t understand her. Diana possibly realised that and so felt it was wise to spend as little time as possible with Princess Anne. How many people do you know who “hate” their mother in law? I loved mine and we were great friends but I was lucky. So many families have these strained relationships between some members. It’s just life....even if you are Princesses.

Princess Anne is one hell of a good girl and I had the privilege to meet her and talk to her. Fantastic and easy to chat to. Classy, quite petite and pretty. Beautiful skin. When I had the pleasure of meeting her, she was about 50ish, maybe a tad less.

Although Princess Diana had good things to accomplish being a member of the RF, she came into the marriage as someone stunted in maturity and realness of the world. Princess Diana, much like Meghan Markle thought the RF would revolve around them and when it didn't, they both set out to cause trouble for the royals. Charles was in love with Camila but knew his marriage with Diana had to work and I do feel he gave initial effort but did not know how to deal with someone who needed constant attention. Obviously, Prince Harry was passed on the gene of mental instability.
