I've come to recently realize that I adore the Royal family!!! Especially William and Catherine Prince and Princess of Wales and their beautiful children. Princess Charlotte is my favorite! I absolutely hate how that vile thing harry married had bullied her! When she was only 3 or 4 tears old! Who does that? How mean, nasty, and foul does one need to be to pick on a small child. And encourage others to do the same. She's really despicable!!

The late Queen had summoned an audience with William after a string of traveling episodes where the family had too many together in the same helicopter to remind him of the necessity of never flying all together in case of the unthinkable. I am sure he is a terrific pilot. It is not easy to do medical emergencies and rescues and he did it for like 2 years !!!! He certainly paid his dues. Good man !

Note: Prince William is flying from the "Right Seat" : The Command Seat. By the way, Prince William's is lifting off by executing a Cat "A" Twin Engine Helo take off. His flying procedures and piloting technique are excellent and 100% by "The Book" ! So Prince William is 'The Captain" and In Command of this flight. In Helos the Right Seat is the Command PIC: Pilot In Command Seat, in fixed wing aircraft it is the Left Seat. No one has every given me a satisfactory reason why it is so!.

Yes 100% and the way that he did a rotation whilst hovering to get a feel how much tail rotor input he needed to get a feel for it before departing as the regular pilot being used to the actual craft at hand would not do that

Lee Mackie. I agree. In fact I dream every night that the ONLY person in that flight is Markle and that the pilots and crew bail out with the only parachutes on board, their own. Markle lost the privilege to a parachute the day she came into our lives. She should have stayed on the yachts being the biggest HO there is. She wanted William, lucky for him he had his gorgeous Catherine, and had he not, he wouldn't touch trash like Markle and invite it into his precious family. @@virginiafry9854 That is not correct. Captains are always seated on the left side (when you enter the cockpit) and the First Officers are seated to the right. This is a worldwide rule in Aviation. Several reasons why, but one is for example being on a collision course with another aircraft. In that event, both captains in both aircrafts turn right to avoid disaster. The Captain will be able to see the other aircraft from his window, the FO not. The captains seat on the left have a few things that is better than the right seat. The Captain is the only one in charge over the aircraft / helicopter and has the best seat (in the event of emergency).

@@virginiafry9854But Yes, you’re right when you say “William is the pilot” when sitting on the right side. But that means he’s the First Officer, not the Captain. It’s the Captain who has sole responsibility over the aircraft and all the people onboard. The FO is a “relief pilot”, who still do a lot of the flying, talking to Air Control, but with the Captains overseeing everything.

@@swinmeis4921 That’s the Captains SOLE responsibility as I wrote above, there is only ONE person in charge and that is the captain. This to avoid any arguments in an emergency, disputes etc. Whatever the Captain says goes (unless he / she is incapacitated). But as I said, the FO does a lot of the flying also and talks to air traffic control, it’s all up to the Captain. I don’t doubt Prince Williams pilot skills but I don’t know if he’s had time ro keep up with his flying hours ro make his license still valid. He can still fly with then attain, like a student though, if that’s the case. I don’t know if he ever became a Captain on these helicopters or not but that doesn’t matter as I think it’s really impressive that he got the Helicopter license (not sure what kind, but yeah he would be able to fly it solo if something happened would happen to the Captain for example) Im just talking about the ranking and the importance between a Captain and a First Officers which none of you seemed to understand, and that’s fair enough. Not many knows that I just want to correct people when they state something incorrect, or confusing pilot with Captain, that’s all. Merry Christmas!

I thought it was older since the tag says commonwealth games. It is winter in the N Hemisphere now and they are wearing white as well as Princess Charlotte’s sandals. I also would assume even the Prince of Wales must do a certain amount of air flying time to keep his license current. I would 100% trust him to fly since he had some much rescue experience! Love how Prince William and Princess Katherine (is this her new name since King Charles took over and titles changed?) are so regal, classy and didn’t fall into the modern trap of blabbing their personal issues to everyone unlike a certain ginger haired individual. Adult members of the royal family are all trained and certified to fly a helicopter. It is so they can make a swift departure to a designated RAF base and promptly flown out of the country should Britain ever face an imminent nuclear conflict.

Keep our wonderful future King and Queen Consort The Prince and Princess of Wales and their lovely young family safe. Travel separately and safe please. Keep Markle and Harry well away from them. They are treacherous pair, never trust them. They will stop at nothing to get rid of them. Jail them for High Treason against our Royal Family. Remove their titles, they don't deserve them after saying that they are only a plane crash away from the throne. THAT is a threat towards them. Ban the Hackles setting foot on English soil ever again.

Very true. Princess Catherine of Wales is worthy of a spot as a beautiful, elegant, chic model for ladies everywhere. And she's not too proud to buy from top high street stores like Next and River Island, she looks gorgeous in whatever she wears. Love her to bits. Had I had a daughter I would have loved her to be like Catherine. Kind, considerate, polite, doesn't show off or ridicule her husband or other people, especially those with autism and other learning disabilities, she really makes them feel like the most important people at any event she meets them at. Diana would be so proud of William for choosing Catherine to be his wife. She would have seen through Markle and sent her on her way back to Z-lister land. She ruined William and Harry's once close relationship. Harry was happy with William and Catherine, they never left him out of anything they did, he'd do well to remember that. William has been his rock since their mother died, Medusa Markle, the Gordon with snakes in her hair brainwashed Harry into all this trouble going on now. Diana must be turning in her grave wishing she could get that witch out of their lives. Harry would never had entertained her had Diana still been alive, he would have married a girl his mum had chosen for him, a REAL Lady, and NOT a Tramp like the Gorgon. She would be disgusted that the Gordon is pretending to be her to cause her youngest child more pain. He lost EVERYTHING the day he met THAT. Just hope he sees sense and divorces IT, and profoundly apologises from the bottom of his heart for the way he treated them all. Especially his gran, SHE stopped Harry from visiting her before she died, and then caused all her male children and grandchildren from saying goodbye. Why was she so insistent of going on the same plane and demanding to be at her bedside when she refused to visit before she died, ask yourselves that? SHE is last person I'd want at my bedside before I took my last breath. With my last bit of strength I would have sat up and strangled her to death and sent her to her lover, Satan. I'd have nothing to lose as God was waiting for me to arrive, he'd forgive me that last chance to keep my family safe from HER.

What I love about this family is the fact they are a family, both Royal, and ordinary. They don't make a fuss, they just get on with it do their Royal duties, also give their children as normal as possible a normal fun life, also Im so glad for the Princess of Wales parents, sister and brother who give the children a normal grounding. The Prince of Wales William is going to be a great future King as Catherine his Queen, they have lived their lives earlier as normal as possible, ordinary when William was a air sea rescue pilot, both are competitive in sports, William his football, Catherine her Rugby, I just love them for who they are, Royal, Regal, Respectful, Responsible, family members.

He flew as a RESCUE pilot! Which is even more demanding! You fly in the worst weather, in dangerous places, under time constraints, to get that PT. To a Trauma center , within that " Golden Hour"! It takes enormous talent and skill! And a level head!!❤

Following the death of the Queen there will be a number of restrictions on which members of the Royal Family can travel together. William and George will no longer fly together (especially in helicopters). Whilst the Queen lived this restriction would have applied once George turned 12 but I think it will now apply immediately.

He was a Rescue Helicopter Pilot!

Is William piloting the helicopter? I know that's what he did in the Royal Air Force and that he was an air ambulance pilot afterwards, but I still think it's so cool that he's doing it now...❤️

The air-sea rescue gig was merely a public persona facade carefully created by public relation experts.don't ge fooled. The male members of the royal family are little more than obscenely rich play boys.

Glad to see some footage of William flying and doing what he loves to do. I'd hate to see them all fly together and something happen and then that damn Spare become the next King. Then we'd be screwed! Don't think Harry doesn't pray for it. Love you Wales family. Keep being strong and remember, you are doing Diane proud. Blessing to this nice family! They are simply like all of us in many ways. Each day is a gift. They seem very down to earth and know both the rich and care about the poor. Raising kids is not easy for any parent! Best wishes and keep up the good works in between raising your children!

A very windy day for a helicopter ride. Very glad all went well.

That’s a monarch I can stand behind! A leader that is currently rated to fly as PIC in a 429!

I think you make an extremely valid point. This is probably nothing, but the queen called William and Kate to a meeting, where she issued specific orders they could no longer fly together. Which coincided with meghans alleged statement, just one planecrash away from the throne.

They really should not travel together in a helicopter especially two heirs together it is risky I was saying only one of their children should travel together and leave George with another sibling in a different ride or flight or at home if abroad unless they are on a ship for example,just my opinion it is risky especially helicopters
