no, not necessarily. After my births, I was always on a high for the first 24 hours, after that, exhaustion hit. And the post-birth contraction of the womb. First 24 hours, I was always great - and she seems to not have had an epidural, and no c-section, no other interventions...that can cause immediate exhaustion for sure. It was very clever to get the official part over with as long as you're on this oxytocin high, then withdraw and rest, just as she did.

I went back home to my three small children and my husband had to go back to work next day!! I had no one to help at all. Kate had a team of people serving her all day and night!!! She doesn't even know what it's like being a mother!! And she doesn't have any money worries either!! She went to a baby food and clothes bank, laughing and giggling , completely unaware where she was! I was deeply embarrassed on her behalf. She didn't bring anything, no donation either! I wonder if she asked the mothers what designer outfits they buy for their children? She's that much detached from the reality!!

Prince William: "...I know in the postition I am in, what is required of me....". That is man, who clearly understands his role, his privilege and his duty. What a privilege to be born into the royal family, even more so, as an heir. Of course it takes its toll, but in the end it is a huge privilege to represent your country, the tradition and serve your people. Monarchy doesnt exist in the interst of the royals, but in the interst of the people. They are the reason you exist. And William understand, that you have to give something back. He and Catherine just manage their royal public life and their private life just perfectly. They share bits here and there without making a fuss about it. They just live their life happily and without constant drama. Thank God, that he was the first born.

Catherine is such an authentic, kind, warm-hearted, natural person. She truly cares and understands her role and her duty, but she never lost anything of her natural spirit. More so, I think with her natural spirit, her modesty and her close relation with her family, she brought a lot of warmth into the royal family. She was made for William. We will never see or hear her complain, upstage someone or use the privileges, that were given to her, to draw attetion on her. She had years of harrasment through the media, yet we never heard her speaking about it. She took it with grace. I remember her first years a royal, when everyone criticised her for being too stiff and withdrawn and not good enough at giving public speeches. That was really unfair. She is an intoverts, soemone who doesnt like to be the center of attenion. She was a commoner and someone, who wouldnt have chose to become a public figure, if it wasnt for William. She was a normal girl, not an actress and had zero experience with media and publicity. She had to grow into her role, grow confidence and that she did. This is a rare moment, that she shares something so privately and she does it to give something back. If you listen to her speaking her or on other oublic engangements, we will never hear her using "I" or "me" a lot. She tries to keep the attention and focus at the people, as it is not about her in the end. And this we can witness with all working royals. Prince Philip once said, that it is a misconception to think, that the monarchy exists in the interest of the royals, it exists in the interst for the people. The royals serve their nation and represent it internationally. Thats an honour and a huge privilege and it comes with toll. Royality doesnt mean, that everyone serves you, that you can be damanding and entitled and boss people around and only do, what makes you happy. If you act like that, you didnt understand royality and that doesnt go down with the ones, that are the reason you exist, namely the people....

I think it is much easier for them than us. Kate had a night nurse and nanny for George, I admire any young woman who comes home with a new baby (and perhaps has a toddler already at home) and deals with the night feeds, the toddler, the housework, the washing, the cleaning, the shopping, the ironing etc etc all on her own!!! Many go back to work after only six months! I honestly do not know how a lot of these young women today, do it all.

@@robertandhollyscorpiofan2697 I don't know what happened to my reply to you but it's impossible for the crown to just pass to Charles and no decisions can be made 'behind closed doors.' There is a Succession Act that is LAW so it takes an Act of Parliament which would be openly debated to just skip over an heir. It would cause a huge constitutional crisis and could topple the monarchy. Members of Parliament and the public could very well say that as long as we're debating on skipping the present heir, why don't we just skip ALL of the heirs and abolish the monarchy? It's never happened before and will never happen.

Just because it’s never happened before doesn’t mean IT CAN’T HAPPEN. If i had money for every comment I’ve read that the monarchy should skip chuckles and the rottweiler, go to catherine and william, I’d be incredibly wealthy. I, along with MANY others, think that while no harm should come to william and George, the monarchy should go to. Charlotte. So true. You think it’s going to go back to normal but it doesn’t and instead you acclimate to a new normal. I’ve found each child I’ve had to bring another huge step up to acclimate to, until my fourth. My fourth felt like nothing changed. I’ve heard that from other mothers of large families. Somehow things get easier after the fourth child. The first three almost feel impossible, but the fourth feels very normal and doable. I’ve enjoyed this newborn stage with my 4th so much more than any of the others.
