people need to stop hating on this woman the one thing that set her apart from all other women in Prince life is the fact that she carried his children and one did come to birth. I believe this was her first love, her first and only husband as of now, and her first and only as of now baby daddy. So, she do have some type of feeling for him even through it may have been 20 years ago or more, don't get me wrong love Prince and his music listen to it every day but, Prince had a lot of shit going on with him to and being so private at times can be more damaging then help.

Yes, but after they separated Prince had a TPO on her for stalking. He refused to see her and even left a club when told she was there. She wasn’t this sweet little creature y’all want to believe. Prince did really love her but once she betrayed his trust he was through with her. She also had 2 affairs when they were married, one with this white rocker and another with a Spanish man when they were in Spain. Just because she carried Prince’s child doesn’t make her a saint. Her parents pimped her to Prince because they’d failed at giving her to MJ. I never liked her. Vanity was his true love and if she hadn’t fallen into addiction she would have been with him until he passed. They both died at 57 and Mayte kept a lot of Prince’s things and sold them off, even her beautiful engagement ring- what woman who says she loved a man and cared for him would sell the rings he gave her?😡

Prince was in pain and he was trying to get rid of the agony...But the Meds...only make things worse after long consumption,..It really bothers me that so many people in this world have such poor pain management techniques...I mean like there is so little available or people do not know, or believe that there are different options that can work and make them more comfortable in their lives.....Every time I hear of a tragedy...I just really cringe it is so Horrific..and sad..........RIP...Prince and to the many that will follow....it is really sick....Mercy King Jesus....Amen...that is all I know....

Absolutely false long-term medication can help the person stay functional and have a quality of life that’s absolutely false because I’m a nurse and I’m also a chronic pain patient so that’s bullshit that anti-opioids zealots are putting out there you can only know when you have diseases that don’t go away they continue to work but you cannot blame an illicit drug like fentanyl and then clump up with prescription drugs together There’s medication drugs if taken responsibley are a godsend people drink wine responsibly and then we have alcoholics ! same thing with prescription drugs people should know when to take their stuff responsibly or choose to abuse them but they have nothing to do with each other and again he died from illicit Fentynal Not prescription drugs-- And that keep on working mind you

April West You know when you really think about it none of us know the truth about what really happened. Who ever said that Larry Graham is being quite has a point. As, for Sheila E doing his moves or saying things he did at her concerts. I personally don’t have a problem with. They knew each other many years and as far as I know Sheila wrote her book long before Prince died. What about all the people who impersonate Elvis? They aren’t close to him. I think Sheila and Prince were close friends. Let’s look at Prince ‘s second wife. She is remarried with kids and she has nothing to say. One wonders if that would be different if she was single. I think Prince loved Mayte and I think she loved him. Who knows how different things may have been had their child lived. Marriage is a lot of work. Bottom line is Prince is in heaven and he is happy, whole and out of pain. If there is any human I believe really did him wrong it is Kirk Johnson. I’ll never believe he didn’t know Prince was in trouble. Most likely everyone that was close to him knew he had an addiction to the pain killers. His siblings and close friends. I pray someone is held accountable for this.

She's so full of it. He wouldn't have seen her. They weren't even on speaking terms and by her own admission he was upset that she was trying to sell his old things including her wedding ring in an auction a month before he died.

I don't think she was all THAT upset. I think she secretly resented Prince . Her mom hated him and she let people know it. Mayte always acted scared to talk . She knew Prince would sue her if she ran her mouth off about him. Prince was a jerk back then to her. She was a puppet and Prince pulled the strings. She's older and wiser now. I don't think Mayte is to sad. But she's proved herself to be money hungry . This comment is really late. Her Book did not go over well in sales at all. It was on the best saler list but the sales were a bit of a flop. No more purple pie for Mayte it's going on two years now .people are tired of her belly dancing and her book and interviews. 15 minutes of fame is over now. We won't see her no more.

b g She sure is cashing in on Prince as much as she can. That symbol had a copywrite on it. The butterfly is how she got around the copy write. She legally stole a part of his estate by doing that. She even went so far as to write a excerpt in Maytes book. I'm sure she didn't do that for free. Her and Mayte worked together. If Prince were alive he would sue the both of them. Sheila's Been on alot of talk shows going on about Prince and promoting her own book. That's more money for every time she talks about him on t.v. Shiela turned out to be a snake. b g The estate had been robbed from the vultures since the day he died. The first concert the family had to raise money.....profit money turned up missing . The lawyers in charge couldn't or wouldn't account for it. They had to be fired. Now they got new updates working in it. Prince really left a hell of a hot mess !!! I pray that years from now Paisley Park don't lay in ruins and decay like the home of alot of great ones has. His did has alot to deal with she isn't a lawyer . All she can do is listen to the lawyers . And don't think the siblings aren't fighting , there is to many if them that all have to come into agreement sigh them vultures. It can and will take years. In the mean time the estate can and will be drained. Until this is settled. THEN.... they gotta settle and to decide on how to get his vault music put out for us . That's another mess.

Notice in all her interviews she has excuses, ex: I was going to go see him BUT it was January, it was too cold, I was going to take my daughter, what if we have to stand outside, if he didn't wake up, should I go in the morning, should I go at night, ah... I'll go in the Spring. She would've had to deal with all these examples in Spring too, just wouldn't be any snow. it's still cold, that's why he liked it there, to keep the bad people away. She knew he was on his way out and didn't give a bloop. She was waiting so she could release her stank book. Also she didn't have to mention the amount of pills that were found... she could've just said it surprised me. He was in pain, it broke my heart, yeah right.
