The army then whisked him out of Afghanistan That is where he got the nickname "Bunker Harry" He was embarrassed by this talk and proceeded to pout and cause trouble for the army, using his power to pressure them to go back to Afghanistan. Harry was NEVER the commander of an Apache helicopter in Afghanistan or anywhere else. He stayed in his private tent playing video games with security around the clock. He never saw action except at the practice range. That's probably where he "killed" 25 Taliban (targets). He was disliked by his fellow soldiers for his arrogance and insubordination. He was not a pilot - couldn't pass the numerous tests he attempted. He swanned in at the weekend with camera crews and left at the end of the weekend. Ergo his nickname Weekender Harry. Also Bunker Harry and The Idiot. All of this from soldiers who were there with him. So no, he didn't serve valiantly. What an insult to real soldiers.

Invictus was given to Harry to try to keep him out of trouble. Also remember William gave one million pounds to help boost its coffers (proceeds from his phone hacking settlement} What does Harry do ? Lets his wife march in shorts in front of our brave veterans. Harry did NOT set up the Invictus Games alone. I wish people would get that straight. He saw the US Patriot Games and came back with the thought that something similar should be done in the UK. Multiple individuals brought The Invictus Games into fruition, including William and Catherine and Prince Phillip. The Cambridges gave a HUGE amount of money to the Games. After the work to establish the organization was complete, H was entrusted to run it.

In the beginning Harry did a great job, the Meghan came along andbit became the Meghan Markle fashion and PR show. Harry did nothing special in Afghanistan he served about 20 weeks over 2 tours, where as every other soldier serves a minimum of 6 months per tour. He was well protected and his being their jeopardised other soldiers lives as he was a prime target He then wrote about his kill score in his stupid book, something that no military person ever does, they may discuss these things amongst themselves but never with anyone outside the military. He disrespected the Queen and country with his and his wife's vile lies. The Queen at the time was the head of the armed forces, so he disrespected the head of the military services. Harry is no hero, why was he given the title bunker Harry? He does not deserve this award and the fact that he even contemplated accepting it speaks volumes

Michael Cole, please do some research before praising Prince Harry unjustifiably! First, H never became a pilot! He was too dense to pass the examinations on his three attempts. He manned the machine gun in the heliocopter. This fact made his acceptance of the "Legends of Aviation" award so farcical! Second, H's service can not be described as either gallant or valiant. Rather, according to witnesses, he played lots of video games in a bunker, refused to be drug tested, and was always under the care of security personnel. H was in Afghanistan, period. That's all. Stop describing H as a knight in shining armor. His family has allegedly been struggling with H's behavior as well as covering it up for him for years!

Harry served as a copilot/gunner in Afghanistan. He had been trained and was “qualified” to be in charge, but he was not in charge of the helicopter. He was deployed as a co-pilot gunner. Let’s not make more of him than he actually was. What he was, was enough.

Many , many have bravely completed two tours in Afghanistan. This was Harry s dream!!! Tillman's dream was to play in the NFL which he gave up after 9 11 to serve his country. BIG DIFF!!!!!!!!!! The Invctus games was founder by the Royal Foundation: Willian , Catherine & Harry. Harry was given the patronage. How do either of these deeds make him more worthy of the Tillman award. To the media instead of banging on and on for days about Harry receiving this award , how about using your journalism skills and find 10 other more deserving. Thank you in advance.

Harry was not a commander of any helicopter, he was unable to pass the pilot certification examinations, even after several attempts. As far as the Tillman award is concerned, Harry appears to be the polar opposite of what Pat Tillman was, and where Tillman sacrificed millions of dollars, and ultimately his life, to serve his country, Harry gave up serving his country to make millions of dollars, and his receiving this award, to me, is an absolute disgrace.

All the "friends?" from their wedding dumped H&M. Now they want nothing to do with them anymore.

When the Invictus Games PR is all about Prince Harry (and his wife) and NOT about the veterans, they may need a new Patron.

Invictus started out as a great idea and a great organization. Sadly, it has become the harry and megan show, all focus on them and none on the Veterans.
