I too am sick of "bunker Harry" being praised for his service. Harry failed his pilots licence, he is incapable of princely behaviour. That belongs to William. GB News is constantly making out that Harry is some kind of war hero. Well he isn't . By accepting this award he is mocking the memory of a genuine hero.

Also he didn’t set up Invictus alone, he took the idea from America Warrior Games, for some reason how Invictus began is left out even by Royal reporters. The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who are now of course the Prince and Princess of Wales, delivered the Games in partnership with the Ministry of Defence Catherine and William were instrumental in helping Prince Harry get this off the ground. No one is taking away Harry’s work with Invictus but it’s right that all those who worked hard to make it happen are recognised

When King Charles was Prince of Wales and The Prince and Princess of Cambridge started it . Prince William donated a million dollars for the Invictus games. They let Harry handle it. Once he married mm they started taking money from it. They put themselves first and there were a lot of disabled veterans have left because it’s no longer about them.

Every award he and MM have received has been purchased. They leverage it with a sizable donation to the organization giving them the award. I am in the states and quite frankly his stay is getting very annoying as his sense of entitlement is unbelievable. We don't have royalty but he and MM use their titles to make money usually while attacking his family and yet he doesn't understand why people don't like him especially MM.😮

Also, it was not a pilot… He was not intelligent enough to pass the exams on multiple occasions. Please show a picture or film of Harry flying a helicopter. You won't find one as he never passed the test, he spent his time playing video games in his tent protected by bodyguards. Pat Tillman walked away from his football career to fight for his country after we were attacked on 9/11 and was a true hero, on the football field and the battlefield. ​@watercain2073 WRONG hazbeen FAILED three times and was made a gunner. Hazbeen did not have the grades to get into officer training but strings were pulled and the idi@t got in. Abysmal failure. He skipped out on drug tests, served a total of 10 weeks in Afghanistan when the average tour was 6 months. Bunker Hazbeen had a cadre of Gherkas guarding him while he played x box...maybe THEY should get the award. I believe hazbeen believes his own lies. Pitiful he's not up for an award for treacherous and treasonous activities which win him a one way ticket to the tower.

Yes we all know Harry served in the military but it wasn’t really serving as other people experience it now was it? First tour was 10 weeks and the 2nd was 20 weeks when the average tour is 6 months Then there’s the fact he was guarded by the SAS, and according to those who were there he had his own tent and bunker, mainly played Xbox and was ushered out for drug testing.

According to military sources he spent 2 tours - 6 weeks each - and had to be sent back because he presented a danger to the other soldiers. He spent both times in a bunker with his x-box...hence the nickname Bunker Harry. He was never involved in battle.

Michael is being extremely generous in his assessment of H’s military service and contribution to the Invictus games. Letting himself be sidelined and embarrassed by Markle has reduced him to a person of low repute and ridicule . There’s not a lot he can do to salvage his image and accepting numerous undeserved ‘awards’ is not helping. He’s turned into a wolf in sheep’s clothing and lost the respect and admiration of many - no award can change that. He has endangered the reputation of his family and the lives of military men who served in Afghanistan. Any chance of consolidating or establishing diplomatic relations with other countries - especially in the Commonwealth - has been eroded despite his audacious claim that he and his wife are embarking on a world tour - the assumption being that they are representing the UK and possibly the US as diplomats of the highest order. Their arrogance and ignorance are astounding! The protests should be a wake up call for him. It’s time for some humility and humanity.

There are 59.830 signatures when I sign the petition. I signed because it's the right thing to do, but I know that the petition will fail. The reason is that the donation made by Harry's wife is too great to reverse the decision.

What “work” does Harry do for Invictus?

My husband served too, so have thousands of others, but no one is throwing awards at them. I am sick of Harry dining out on a few weeks of active duty when others went back and forth for years, and didn’t have body guards to look after them. Using wounded veterans and his dead mother for PR purposes turns my stomach. As Mary Tillman said, there are far more deserving people who get no recognition because they won’t increase ratings for ESPN. I am thoroughly sick of all this ‘hero Harry’ bs.

His commander in chief ( Queen Elizabeth 11) took his military rank away, he can't even wear the uniform anymore, his name shouldn't even be spoken in the same sentence as this HERO Pat Tillman, what on earth is going on here

It is not about his former service, it is all about what he has been doing in the last years. Invitus was a good thing, but he and his wife has made it all about themselves. They are not giving of themselves selflessly, they are expecting to be paid for giving. It doesn't matter where you are from, but that is unforgivable.

I think a lot of people think Harry has used the Invictus Games to shine a light on himself and his wife when he used to use his status to shine a light on Invictus. Entirely to often Harry takes a backseat to his wife and she’s the focus. She doesn’t have to turn it into a fashion show but dress down and wear Invictus gear. She doesn’t need to make speeches she could leave that to Harry and just support him. She doesn’t have to take center stage and do things like walk in front of solders in designer short shorts. When you do see Harry he rarely looks happy or excited like he was at the games BM. It seems they often bring up Invictus or mental health when they need positive PR. Harry is the last person people should rely on for mental health advice.

Harry is far to egotistical to refuse the reward. Stop wasting your time trying to persuade Harry. Also, Invictus games was developed by other Royals along with Harry and not solely by Harry.

The petition is completely justified. It is an American Award to commemorate an American soldier and should be given to an American. Giving the Award to an ex-Royal who believes free speech is ludicrous is exactly that, ludicrous. The vast majority of the US don't care about him or want him gone. He's a pain in the ass and his wife is no better. If his country of origin wants to give him an award, they should certainly do so. Unfortunately, she is American, so we can't just kick her out for doing drugs or lying on an application.

Harry should decline. It would be a sham to accept this award and he would help himself to gracefully decline
