Emily Maitlis is a very famous UK journalist and interviewer, he knew what her interview skills are like and yet he still did it, because he believed he could easily convince her and he believed he’d be so good at tricking her! Wow it just shows how much he thinks of himself if he thought that interview would go well! But at the same time I’m wondering if he still thinks he did a good job to convince her he wasn’t lying!

@@78KellyS78 more realistically, being the Queens favorite son comes with huge social cache. Reporters have always held back with the royal family and given them softballs, and that's when they even engage with an open press. They almost exclusively communicate to the public through a handful of news organizations they're buddy buddy with. My guess is someone had finally convinced the Queen she couldn't protect him anymore, word had gotten out to the commoners and Andrew was going to take the entire monarchy down if they stood by him. THIS. He did that multiple times, say that he had to tell Epstein that “he can’t be seen with him” and that they can’t talk “because he’s been convicted” - he’s literally blatantly admitting that he doesn’t care at all about the fact that Epstein did terrible things & that he wasn’t “ending the friendship” because Epstein was a p3dophile, but rather only because he had gotten caught and so Andrew “couldn’t be seen with him” (and on that note I also don’t even believe that Andrew actually ended the friendship or stopped seeing Epstein/Maxwell). It’s very obvious this man is guilty and I have absolutely no doubt that he had Epstein & Maxwell traffick underage girls for him to have s*x with.

Yeah, completely agree. As someone who had contact with someone who was involved in shady shit (when I was ages 14-16), I would NEVER have a problem saying I regret ever meeting the man. There were absolutely times that benefited me when I was around that person, and once I sensed something was wrong I started to distance myself from him, and encouraged my friends to do the same. 5 months later a girl from my class ended up dying at his house. It makes me sick. It's been 13 years, and it still makes me physically sick just thinking about it. I didn't know what was happening. I didn't help him commit any crimes. I was floored when I found out about just how bad things were. But I still lay awake at night racking my mind as to what I could have done at the time to change what happened. I don't just wish I hadn't met the man, I wish he was never born. I wish he died before I met him. I wish he was still rotting in prison. I wish I could go back knowing what I do now, and stop it from ever happening. This isn't how people react when they genuinely find out about someone close to them being a sex offender. Me and my best friend from high school are still carrying baggage from having simply KNOWN one. It's been 13 years, and there is just so much rage and disgust that we can't keep control of any time the subject comes up. Favorite part is when Andrew called Epstein's crimes "unbecoming" and the interviewer called him out and said, "Unbecoming? He was a sex offender"! YES! Not once in this entire interview did Andrew come close to using words that accurate describe what Epstein did - sexual assault and sexual trafficking of minors. (Which makes sense, of course. Andrew isn't going to use words like those to describe Epstein if he knows he himself is guilty of the same crimes.) Which makes it kind of amusing to watch Andrew try to distance himself from Epstein without condemning Epstein when that would be the easiest/fastest way to do that.

He was terrified of my parents because they would have ripped him apart of he even tried anything else. But he never talks about the moment he himself found out his friend was a monster. There's no shock or anger or sense of betrayal or disbelief or anything when he talks about the allegations or conviction. At about the 33:00 mark, Andrew almost slips up when asked if he has any guilt or regrets about his relationship with Epstein. "As far as my fff... association with him..." He very nearly said "my friendship" but then pivoted at the last second, even as the word had started to come out of his mouth. Andrew spent this entire interview distancing himself from Epstein, saying that they were not close in any way. He wanted it to be very clear that they were only acquainted through his friendship with Ghislaine Maxwell and that Epstein was merely useful to him as a connection. The Interviewer does use the word friendship in her initial question, but Andrew had always been extremely careful up to then to not say the word, often pointedly contradicting the Interviewer when she used it. I think Andrew really did almost slip up here, maybe his concentration wavering for a moment amid all the uncomfortable and confrontational questions by the Interviewer.

"July" "Ah yes it was before then" reaction was priceless and exactly a part that rang so many alarm bells for me

@Observe Logan, I can’t figure out if you doing another episode is out of selflessness or self-loathing. In either case, thank you for doing another round, and perhaps file a civil suit against The Royal Formerly Known As -Princ- Andrew for damages to support therapy. Either way, thank you for sacrificing ANY time on this dumpster fire of a person. 😂

I mean we all knew that the ppl like Andrew and other's in major positions of power for sure ordered the hit on Epstein, but his reaction to the few times Epstein's death was mentioned in this interview are so dang telling.

This man should NEVER have opened his mouth. Never responded, never done interviews (like this travesty). He's a terrible liar. I suspect he just .. didn't care, then or now. He behaves as though he is entirely ABOVE everyone he interacts with. These girls, these victims, did not matter. Edit: How the hell did he think he'd get away with steering a conversation about Epstein into a a self-congratulatory discussion about his work with charities and children? Just ... What in earth was he thinking? Edit 2: He laughs when talking about Epstein's death. He whines that modern social media ruined his ability to stay in contact with Epstein. It's all been "damaging" to him. He even makes sure to throw in his mental health. He needed to build "thick" skin because his feelings got hurt when he was forced to stop talking to his good friend, Epstein. Edit 3: Money. Money and power were what mattered. He's offended that the world is judging him for his conduct.

the way he responded to "some people believe Epstein didn't kill himself..." fucking rocked me so hard! that smirk, laugh!!! he either knows it was a hit or he's not really dead like most of us assume he's not. Epstein was ready to snitch - you can tell by the way PA handled himself when asked if Epstein was mad over their walk in the park (like observe said - sounds like Epstein didnt react as well as andrew is protraying) im sure the royal family has more than enough resources to kill or sneak someone out of a prison...

Guys, just go with me on this. Granted, eight other people would have to die first, but Andrew is still in the British line of succession. And yet, the facts that he has laid out for the world here are: -He cannot remember/recall details, dates, people, locations, or entire events of his own past -Because he is a member of the royal family, people alter their behavior around him to such an extent that a global scale underage sex trafficking operation was taking place in not one but two of the residences of a friend in which he stayed on numerous occasions but claims to have seen no evidence of. Because when Prince Andrew is about to roll up, people push a button and all illegal activities shut down. -He invites people he claims to not be friends with to his daughter's (in case anyone doesn't follow along, that's HRH Princess Beatrice) wedding. -When shown an irrefutable photograph of himself with the woman (as a teenager) accusing him of SA, he doesn't refute that it is him. He refutes that it is his own hand touching his victim. -Whenever he is asked a question along the lines of "Prince Andrew, did you do this awful thing that exists very hard evidence that you did and many people want to hear the truth?", he responds with, "Well, uh...no-n-n-no...you see, I couldn't have p-p-possibly done that thing because, you see, I was...I was...on holiday at that time, I was...I believe I was in the Isle of Wight d-d-d-doing my paintings and so you see, the dates just don't line up." Do I need to keep going to demonstrate how he made the greatest case for himself to not ever be the controller of the purse strings?

Andrew's idea of "honor" is talking to a convicted sex offender in person, man-to-man... but no mention of how to be honorable toward women and girls harmed by Epstein. It's a twisted version of the "old boys' club" type of honor. Puts people he relates to (so rich men within a generation or two of him) in a different category than everyone else-and that's the category of people he's most obliged to be "honorable" toward. Makes me uncomfortable. This is the type of man I avoid and feel emotionally unsafe around even without sex crimes being involved, because get the sense that he cannot get outside his own perspective of things, his convenient sense of values and such that work for him in his world. If I have a problem he can't relate to (so, most of my problems), he will likely be dismissive about it. If he says or does something hurtful to me that he does not think was hurtful, he won't take ownership of it. At least, that's the sense I get. This is not the type of man I want in a place of influence.

He’s cool about being friends with a sex offender before the accusations. So, as long as there were no accusations, it’s all good. Just remember, accusations or no, what happened happened. But it was cool up until there were accusations.

He's so offensive. That he thought any of that was believable is almost hilarious. One moment he's too far above the people he says he thought were staff, the next he actually says he's like everyone else. And the utterly ridiculous explanation of doing the honourable thing by breaking up with Epstein, face to face. You know, the fellow he only really knows as Maxwell's "plus 1". He disgusts me.

Being British I've watched Andrew as I've grown up and he's always seemed the most least Royal of all the family, like a spoiled, entitled brat. Little was I and many others to know that the truth was far, far worse! During this series of yours I have cringed more than I have ever cringed before to the point where I laugh uncomfortably out loud, and then, I remember just how serious and harmful his actions were and I feel anger and a hunger for justice. Very informative series 👏
