Yeah its just not Primus without Tim. Jay Lane is awesome but its a different style, there's stuff missing when its not Tim. I do enjoy Jay's little wood block and cowbell stuff. It has its place. And Brain beats the hell out of a drumset but Tim is next level.

Bloody hell, what an absolute treat! Primus and Tool, my 2 all-time favorite bands; and Tim and Danny, my 2 favorite drummers since the early 90s, each a maestro of percussion. Frontotemporal dementia is slowly robbing my memory, but this just brought back a hella goddamned good one to when I was a wee 23 yr-old stud-bull rootin n’ sniffin and urging to learn as a UNC undergrad, seeing them at the 1993 Lollapalooza at Walnut Creek Amphitheater in Raleigh. You have my sincere thanks, good human, whoever you are, for capturing and posting this, and bringing a tear of joy to an ailing chap. Merci

Bumping this so you can remember.
This concert is so amazing, I never thought Tool and Primus would team up like this. They're my 2 favorite bands of all time. This performance actually made me sad about the lack of genius artists in our culture today. Everything in pop culture today is based on mimicry and very simple formulas for producing the same exact sound over and over. I'm worried that we'll never see this kind of original and powerful technique again.
