IDW had a golden chance to show the fight between Unicron and Primus in the end of their original comic universe, but they screwed entirely, turning Unicron into the mindless weapon of a space wizard and Primus into a psyquiatrist while Cybertron became into a stupid puppet

I really like the exucution for Idw Unicron at the end. He was really good. Unfortunetly they fundimentally ruined the character.

A shame Primus hasn´t reappeared propperly in the franchise since Transformers Galaxy Force, I mean that was the only time he appeared in an animated series and unfortunately he didn´t fight against Unicron

he's everything to the transformers.

Simon Furman did Primus and Unicron story justice. I loved his story from the old Transformers series from Marvel Comics

"He's a great swordsman"...he has no other to fight with except Unicron

Got the Primus toy in 2006. Huge figure. But it was no match for my son who took it apart. Still have pieces of him in a container so maybe some day this year will try to put him back together.

Yeah the Quintessons called thenselves the creators just because after primus created the cybertronian race, he went into a deep slumber and the quintessons took control of vector sigma to get their own designs ( at least in the original cartoon )

Maaaaaaaaaaan one would say the reason primus doesnt transform is because if he went toe to toe with Unicron the universe would be at stake. Then again what about the transformers series the headmasters where the Decepticons destroyed cybertron at the end of the series?

IDW’s unicron 6 issue arc revealed all he different Primus’ including Rung.

The Quintusons haven't been in the live action movies. Quintesa, was meant to be Quinta's Prime!

If there is a real God, I would imagine that he is Primus.

I want a story about the original cybertronians. They eluded to them in Beast Machines.

I favor the Aligned Continuity's Primus and Unicron best simply because with Unicron as Earth it gives credence to why out of all cosmos would our tiny blue planet be worth so much war over.

Nope, it's just a myth, Primus and Unicron don't get a ton of spotlight because they are pretty much world shattering characters, Primus has had only one toy that not a repaint of another figure and it's had three paint decos of that toy, he overdue for a new figure thou it's most likely going to be Haslab that do him as Unicron got that treatment, but when that happens is unknown currently!!

"The one" is practically the actuall multi-versal God. So they really have to avoid giving info about its existince(other than its beign the starting everything). Because any slight information about it will radically altered our POV for the Transformers multi-verse.

I think they tried to make "G1" move. Where it revealed that Quintessans were using some power of Primus through all-spark/Vector-Sigma in later parts of the G1.

Every time I see the panel wjere primus gets hit by a stray shot I just imagine him screaming because he's super sensitive to pain and it really makes me laugh But that's just me

@@DESTRAKON what gemes? The only TF games that were successful were the Half-moon games, Devistation, and Shattered dimension. Very few bought MB TF Tie-in games, check the sells, they're abismal. . So what generation? The popular IDW comics aren't related to Bay Films. The basic job of a movie is to tell a story and entertain you with it. If I have to consume supplimrntal media to get the story, then that movie isn't doing it's job. You're better off reading.

When I said generation here’s what I meant: a lot of people I grew up with know this continuity as the transformers, they didn’t become hardcore fans cause most people just grew out of it (no thanks to the unnecessary 4th movie) if I bring it up in conversation with people also in their 20s they’ll usually talk about it fondly, it’s only online discussing we’re I see everyone throwing a fit, I will say however that everyone agrees that they should’ve gave more screen time to the robots instead of the people. I get that you’re looking at sales figures but you’re probably not aware that there’s a cult following with the games, especially the dotm and 2007 ds games. A lot of us grew up with the internet so it really wasn’t shit to just look up stuff about the characters and that was part of the fun of it. I’m not gonna sit here and try to convince you anything (I don’t even know you) I’m just telling you experience so can look at things from a different angle, weather you take it or leave it is up to you.

I'll never forget Tiger Hawk's valiant last stand, Dinobot's last gesture to reclaim his honor, just like his original predecessor would have done, and, of course, Depth Strike's and Rampage's final showdown. Primus is the most idiotic god ever in any story.

So... two borderline clockwork machines since their origin are elevated to being like gods who are further from being akin to the actual supreme status of beyond corporal energy status to having it a power-armor avatar version of... meh... no wonder why intellectual people abandoned Transformers canon after Marvel go a hold of it.
